As I stated in my initial complaint I have never been given anything in writingI don't know who the company is, how much this debt was forAll I was told from JE Group was that the debt occurred using my identity at the same address that was associated with the ID Theft back in in Houston TX
I know my rights and as mentioned in the complaint I provided this company with different police reports which showed that I filed ID Theft Reports and the fact that I have never lived in Houston TXI also filed a report with the FTC and obtained a year extended credit alert with all three credit bureaus
The fact that JE Group will not accept the police reports as proof that I was a victim of identity theft is their problemI will not pay them anything ever!
The case number they provided in their answer is not the same case number that they provided me(Case *** IT HAS BEEN FIVE YEARS since I have had to deal with Identity Theft and it is a great burden trying to prove that you have been wronged
I don't need the harassment nor do I have the time or patience to deal with this company about a debt that occurred because someone stole my identityThey can have it! There was only one utility company that contacted me from Houston TX in and after I sent them the police report they in turn sent me an exoneration letter because they investigated and found that this was indeed a case of identity theft
I provided the police reports to JE Group as they requestedAfter some legal advise from my attorney he stated that I did my part in giving them sufficient evidence as required by lawHe also stated that I took the appropriate action after having my identity stolen
JE Group should not contact me anymore in reference to this "ghost account" which I will say again they have never provided me with anything in writing as to the facts of this "so called" case
What company does business in this manner? This is a "fly by night" scam company who I believe are targeting peopleI will not say too much more as I have started some fact finding and I have also notified several other agencies who will have a closer look since the Revdex.com is not an "action business
The person I spoke to on the phone from JE Group stated the company which they obtained this note from was a large utility company from Dallas TX which handles many of the smaller utility companies across Texas
JE Group most likely obtained this erroneous note that has been written off for many years now due to the "Identity theft" and now want to come back to harrass the victim of the identity theft(me)This is ridiculous! I have to prove again that I have been victimized for the same case most likely(double jeopardy) for real!!!!
Who harasses identity theft victims? A joke!
