complaint about customer service or, in fact, anything. With respect to the “Desired Settlement,” although we disagree with his assessment that his mother is unable to make responsible financial decisions, we would like to remove ourselves from this family dispute. We agree not to allow his mother to purchase any additional merchandise. He further requests that we have no contact with her. We agree to not contact her, but note that we have never initiated contact. Since it is she who contacts us, he will have to manage the “no further contact” request with her. The best we can do is repeat to her when she calls the mantra, “Your son doesn’t want us to do business with you.” The complainant previously contacted us to discontinue our business relationship with his mother. When we talked to her about it, she expressed outrage that her son was trying to control how she spent her money. She does not have trouble making decisions, expressing her desires, following up on orders she has placed . . . in short, we have not experienced diminished capacity. Her son has not taken her credit card or closed her checking account. She has told us that she makes her own decisions on how to spend her money. The problem this gentleman has is with his mother, not with JR Zachary Design. We have done nothing “unscrupulous” or “criminal.” Our client, the mother, is very pleased with our work. The complainant, the son, is seeking to control his mother’s spending habits by intimidating us. If he had the authority to dictate what and when she buys, he would have done so through the proper channel, i.e., the bank and credit card companies. Although we don’t think the Revdex.com is the proper forum for this family’s financial disagreements, we will have no further contact with our client, the mother. In return, we ask that he withdraw the complaint and refrain from slanderous and libelous statements about our well-respected company. JR Zachary Design
