Product received was not what was expected after discussion with the dentist On June 28, I was seen at Modern Family dental to have a cracked tooth extractedBefore the extraction, I asked what my options were as far as partial replacement for the extracted toothI was given two options; permanent replacement and partialAt no time did I agree to have a partial dentureThe images that I was shown of a partial replacement did not look like what I received on July 12, I mentioned to the dentist and hygienist that the partial was not what I expected, I expected it to be a single partial and not a denture partialI would have never agreed to have a denture partialAfter several attempts of trying to get it to fit in my mouth, I was told to take it home and wear it so that I would get use to itIt was utterly impossible for me to wear this product in my mouth, I could not talk, saliva kept filling my mouth and it dug into the roof of my mouth (right behind my top front

I'll staI'll start by saying this was to most disappointing experience I've ever had with a dental practiceI had two teeth that had split their roots and needed to be replacedI decided to go with implantsAfter going to several dentist consultations I choose Modern Family Dental in Concord NCOf the two teeth that I wanted replaced with implants, one had already been pulled and was healed, the other, my front tooth still needed to be extractedAt my consultation, the Dr said the the front would need a bone graphHe quoted a price of $for pulling the tooth, the bone graph and for a retainer (a plastic piece resembling a [redacted] ) with some composite bonds that he would make to resemble the tooth that was missingI would wear this while going through the implant processThe cost of each implant was quoted as $a piece for a total of $for everythingThis also included two CT scans, one for the upper jaw and one for the lowerThis is where I should have known to be cautious with this particular office because the CT scans cover the entire face but this office charges twice, again one for for the upper jaw and again for the lower jawAgainst, in hindsight, my better judgment I went forward with the quoted planThe first step was to make the [redacted] piece to cover the missing front toothUpon arrival the office manager asked for a payment of $dollars which I paidThe receipt had no information as to what I payed for, when asked the office manager replied with dental jargon that I repeatedly express confusion aboutShe made no attempt to explain to my satisfactionI asked for but never received a detailed receiptWhile having the mold of my mouth done for the making of the retainer I spoke with the dentist about it and he said that she had charged my for the CT scans and he reiterated the $cost covering the tooth extraction, bone graph and retainerI informed that I had a recent CT scan from another dentist and the I would bring that on my next visitWhen I return to receive the retainer ( [redacted] ) I told the office manager that I wanted to have someone explain to me the $that I had given them and what that actually coveredIt turns out that she did not charge for the CT scans, the cost when broken was $for the retainer and $for the composite bonds that was to squirted into the Tetainer to resemble a toothFurther breakdown shown that the bone graph was going to cost $dollar and another $for the extraction for a total of over dollarsTheee times the quoted priceAt this point I knew I would not move forward with this preditory dental officeI was charged (robbed) $for the useless retainer and sent on my wayThe office manager was totally unprofessional, made no attempt to apologize for the misleading consultation nor brought the doctor out to ask why he misquoted in his consultation and then lied to me about what I had been charge for, making sure to never mention the $price of making a fake tooth or the other quotes for the bone graph and extractionThey made sure to keep him hidden away while I was thereI feel like I was ripped off and taken advantage of by an office that is supposed to have your best interest at heartMy recommendation is stay far away from this place

I would highly recommend Modern Family Dental CareDr Taj H [redacted] and the staff did a great job, with a short wait time

The doctors and staff at Modern Family Dental Care are wonderful! Everyone was friendly, the office was clean, the prices were what I expectedI am happy I found this dentist!

2/12/ NS WIN I WAS THERE ON 4/12/ ASKING TO GET JOUSTED THEY MESSED THEM UP

I prepaid for services this summerI cancelled that appointment and asked for a refundIt's almost December and they still have not issued my checkI've called several times and my check still has not been issuedI just want someone will take my issue seriously and issue my checkI shouldn't have to keep following up with this company about my money

I found this dental office to be very accommodating with finances People know dentistry is not cheap The had options and asked me what worked best for me After a few days of thinking about it, they were very helpful

Took mother to Modern Family Dental Care for crown work on one of her teeth4/12/ The work was done incorrectly and she was in a lot of pain After going back several times issue was not resolved Took her to another dentist and they found the problem and had to redo the work Contacted Modern Family and explained to them the issues and well as provided them with x-rays before and after The dentist, Taj *H*** said he thought he could fix it but it didn't work out They said is it up to management to refund the money but refuses to give me the name of the manager For over a month I have followed up and still get numerous excuses that someone is out to lunch or out of town or haven't responded

THIEVES!! Stay away plz! They wrongly charged my dad for service they didn't provide twice on auto-billAgreed to refund for the two wrong charges - has been months already and keep promising to refund but till this day still no refundTalked to them multiple times but they still won't refund! Stay away! Shady business practices!
