A representative from the company stopped by and asked if they could check for storm damage to my roofI told him that we had already been rejected twice by our previous insurance company, but we had a new company and he was welcome to see what he could doIsmael, the project manager took a look and said he felt that there was definitely storm damageWe filed a claim and Kat sent their representative to meet with the adjustor This man was very tactful and competent and was able to convince the adjustor to approve a new roof for us From there, Ismael worked with us to select the type and color of shingles that we wanted, and made sure that all details regarding the roof installation were taken care ofThe crew did a great job and insured that gardens were protected and everything was cleaned up at the endIsmael followed through to make sure we were happy with the jobWe are very happy with what Kat Construction was able to do for usAny negative ratings they might have are undeserved.My experience is that they are very concerned about pleasing the customer

We called KAT Construction (KAT) for an estimate to replace our roof as we received a flyer from them stating they will do a free home inspectionKAT sent out Angelica *** on August 12, to give us an estimateMs*** looked at our roof and stated there was enough damage to file a claimAlthough we told her that we had damage inside our home, from a leaky roof, she never inspected the inside She then proceeded to state that it's a hassle to file a claim & that she would do that for usMs.*** then stated that we needed to sign a permission form for her to call State FarmMy wife signed the form and Ms*** called State FarmAfter my wife signed the form Angelica put the form in a folder right awayMs*** went on to state, in the presence of adults in our home, that we were under NO OBLIGATION to hire KAT and that she would be in touchWhen she left, she stated that she would be present when the insurance adjuster came out and she also handed us the KAT folder a
