I called the LaFollette Mine Supply Co. on Friday, October 2, 2020 and asked if they had a WetSteps dock ladder in stock. They said they did. The next morning I drove to LaFollette Mine Supply Co. and asked for a WetSteps dock ladder. They asked me what size I wanted and sold me a dock ladder. I found out later that the dock ladder I was sold was not a WetSteps dock ladder. The dock ladder I purchased was a knock off that someone makes for them. At no time did LaFollette Mine Supply Co. tell me that the dock ladder I was purchasing was not a WetSteps. I called LaFollette Mine Supply Co. after I found out that I did not have WetSteps and was told that is what they refer them as. The are calling their knockoff dock ladders by the name WetSteps even though they are not. I think that is called bait and switch.

Exchange I purchased an already assembled, welded dock ladder. I would like an actual already assembled, welded WetSteps dock ladder. LaFollette Mine Supply Co. is the only authorized WetSteps dealer in my area and they are a 1.5 hour drive away. Since I would have to drive an additional 3 hours to replace the ladder, I feel I should be compensated for my time and gas.

The owner of the business, *** (I was never given a last name), called me and has offered to order me a dock ladder from WetSteps and is willing to bring it most of the way to me. I will need to meet them in a neighboring town. I agreed to this and will let you know of the out come. *** did tell me it might take a few weeks to get the steps in.
