March 22, 2016To Whom It May Concern,We have been in business years and have never had a problem with a customer.We had problems with this customer during the job [redacted] would continually yell and holler at employeesOur Foreman, David K [redacted] , who ran this project, refuses to go back for anything due to the way he was treatedWe completed the project per Contract, in a timely mannerAll work was inspected and approvedAll job sub-contractors were paid within days of their invoices and continue to work for us at the present time.The customer did have two separate calls within the one-year warranty periodOne pertaining to the hardwood floor and one pertaining to the marble curb in the showerBoth issues were addressed in a timely manner and resolvedThe job was completed and Final Payment was made on July 8, 2014.In reference to the string of contacts, the contact made to our Company on 6/2/was in reference to the shower curb that was replaced and there is no issue (Please see attached) We have no contact from the [redacted] ’ on 9/15/at all.The first contact made to us in reference to dry wall cracks was by email on January 10,(Please see attached)That was months from the time of completionBesides being out of the warranty period, we have a disclaimer in the Contract that states, “Settlement cracks in dry wall, stucco and/or ceramic tile grout are and to be expectedRepair of them are not covered by workmanship warranty, they are considered routine maintenance”(Please see attached).I did go out to their house as a courtesy on Monday, March 14,at 10:AMI was actually relieved when I saw the addition because the way they described the cracks was that they were every where and seriousI found very very minor, settlement cracks that are a result of the addition settling and the lumber shrinking from the moisture content drying out after the first heat season.In all honesty, it would be one day, at best, for a painter to spackle the cracks and repaint the walls/ceiling [redacted] stated he wanted to have the walls a different color anyway.If I can be of any further assistance, please don’t hesitate to call or email.Sincerely,Larry Robinson President
