Review: The company did not install the insulation correctly in our attic. Our attic was never properly ventilated as stated it would be on their web page. The men that came to do the walls were inexperienced. They blew out one of our walls, started an electrical fire in an outlet, put too much insulation in the walls causing damage to my base boards, fire place/mantel and walls. Due to not checking the location of duct work they drilled into and filled up my heating ducts, and spilled out insulation into our basement. They did not clean up after themselves leaving brick dust on our front and back porch, as well as insulation on our basement walls and floor. As time passed by one of our walls in our living room started to buckle due to the over filling of the wall space with the insulation. My wife called and spoke to the owner about everything that had happened since the start of their job. He came out and looked around. He had two of his employees clean out our heat duct. He also had an employee come to fix the wall where it was buckling and cracking.The owner informed us that our attic didn't need ventilated and that, "This is what happens in older houses!" referring to the damages caused. The man who fixed the wall, (the second one that needed fixing) slapped some dry wall mud on it and left. He told my wife that she would have to apply another coat of two of dry wall mud and then sand and paint it, when this was his job to correct. Having taken out a second mortgage to have all this work done I would have expected much better service then what I did. I have had multiple problems for the past two and a half years now from their work and little to no effort made on their behalf to repair their damage correctly and they had a condescending attitude towards us.Desired Settlement: It would be nice to have our money back as we will never go with this company again to even correct their problems for they have shown they can not be trusted to correct their work with pride and efficiency. A tube of calking to put on our fireplace and some guy slapping dry wall mud on a huge buckle in the wall and then leaving isn't fixing the problem. I know we will not get our money back from them though, so I want other consumers to learn and not make the same mistake we did.
