I would like to take the time to clear up the story by [redacted].
[redacted] did come into my store to purchase a bed that I had advertised on [redacted] The bed was for sale for $200.00
[redacted] failed to...

mention that she was a past employee that left on not so good of terms for untrue stories that she told our management.  When the staff of my store called me to see if we could lower the price of the bed I asked how much the bed was selling for, my employee told me that [redacted] had made the offer of $150.00.  The bed does not and never did belong to me it belonged to a consigner.  Yes we do consign items in our shop and the cut is 50/50.  The consigner did not ever give me permission to lower the price of the bed lower than 10%.   
I told my employee that I would take the money off my side of the cut to make [redacted] happy.  Other family members were in the store while
[redacted] was shopping and she was thrilled.  I was glad that I could help her due to our past experiences and hopefully it would mend a broken friendship.
For over 3 weeks we heard no complaints from [redacted] regarding the size of the bed, we heard nothing regarding that the mattress did not fit. 
[redacted] did come into the shop and tell my staff while they were closing up that she was having trouble getting the mattress to fit the bed.  My staff contacted me to discuss her concerns, she at no time requested money back or a refund in any way. They informed me that she was just looking for advice; she knew that the bed was an antique and wanted to hear our opinion regarding the bed.
I contacted local mattress shops to discuss the situation and many solutions were given to me.  Before I could personally contact [redacted] to discuss these
solutions with her she verbally assaulted my staff in the store.  Her comments and foul language were not only offensive but completely out of line. 
After receiving phone calls from my staff with what had taken place I did contact [redacted] to discuss with her what could be done.  Our phone call was not pleasant at all.  [redacted] used language that was very offensive and of poor taste.  I tried to explain to this out of control customer that we wanted to help
her.  Our policy clearly states that all sales are final, written on her receipt as well as the sign by the cash register.  I wanted to help her but I could not at this time give her a refund, [redacted] had procession of the bed for over three weeks and the consignee had already been paid for the sale of the bed. 
I lost money on the deal in just dealing with [redacted].  I did offer to sell the bed for her and was trying to help, not make money on her again as she stated. 
I have been in business for four years and I take pride in my store, my staff and my customers.  I tried to help this person who was unable to even communicate like an adult.
Sad to see her use the Revdex.com to spread lies and look childish, some people you just cannot help. If she was able to communicate with me I would have been able to discuss this matter with her.  I don’t see how I should be responsible for any type of refund, by her letter it seems that all she had to pay was 10.00 for slats.  Again, lies were told to you and the story is now explained correctly.

I was advised by the associate that it belongs to the [redacted] of the store [redacted] and they would give her a call and ask. I was able to purchase the bed for $150.00. I have tried two different mattresses and box spring and neither of them will fit, they were both too big. I went back up to the store on Saturday 05/17/2014 approx 15 mins. Before they closed to see what could be done. I was advised by the associate that they do not do refunds but under certain conditions they may make exceptions. I was advised that the [redacted] of the store was at her daughters birthday party and it would not be a good time to call. I was advised they would look into it on Monday and call me back.I received a voice mail to call the shop. I called back on Monday 05/19/2014 and was advised they could not help me out that I could go to another shop and buy and extension for the bed to make it work. I advised that the wood rails is what makes the look of the bed and to replace with extension would take away from the look of the bed that I loved. I was then advised that I would re-consign the bed with the shop at a 50 /50 split. This really upset me, the [redacted] of the shop made money off me for the first sale now she want me to re-consign with her so that she can make another 50% profit (This is just wrong !!!!). The [redacted] of the store called me and advised that I was being rude to her associate and that re-consigning was the best they would do. I had advised that I would call the Revdex.com. The [redacted] of the store said to call the Revdex.com or my lawyer she did not care, at that time I disconnected the call.So to some things up, I am a victim of false advertising and the store [redacted] not making good on the ad they placed online.I am out $150 for the bed and another approx $10.00 for having new slats cut for the bed as they gave me three of eight slats that were too small for the bed and I went out and spent $250.00 for a mattress and box spring for this bed.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to refund my $150 and they can do what they want with the improperly advertised bed.
