Review: On January 2, 2014, I purchased a diesel 4X4 [redacted] lawn tractor off the internet, [redacted], I am submitting five of the emails I had saved. I was concerned with the condition of this lawn tractor since I was spending $4200.00. I became concerned when it was delivered the end of January, and I had a problem getting it up my driveway. I made a number of calls to "Lucky" and he was hard to reach. The few times we were able to discuss the problem he suggested to work on the throttle. During the winter months I worked on the tractor to have it ready for the spring. When it came time to mow, the tractor would not move up the grades of my property. During our phone conversations prior to the purchase I had explained how hilly my lawn was. I knew of Steiners as a mower golf courses use. I sent photos and he told their would be no problem. Even the delivery man said no problem. During the last three months I have replaced a number of items on this mower that I am willing to take the responsibility for. When I would discuss with him about the lack of power and smoke that was coming from the tractor, asked me if I had any ideas what may be wrong. I made a suggestion that the large mower deck may be to large he suggested I sell it and buy another. This was done thru texting since that was the only way he wanted to communicate. I responded telling him I was not in the market to be a salesman. I have not heard him since. I also sent two videos of how the tractor would not move up my driveway and was smoking way to much. I have been trying things that he suggested and still no results: change fuel type, keep the tank full. As of day Aug.8,2014 the tractor barley moves. I have been only using the tractor for 8 hours. He explained to me in a couple emails that the tractor "DOES NOT SMOKE". I have texts about other conversations but do not know how to attach. I have borrowed friends and neighbors tractors to mow my lawn. Please provide whatever help you can. I have videos but having problems sending.Desired Settlement: Refund my money and I will relinquish all cost and labor I have put into the mower. He also can keep the delivery charge. Or pay to have it repaired.
