Dr. Wilson was my Primary Health Care provider for 9 months. This office knew I am disabled and did not have transportation. Due to medical conditions and medications, my memory is not good at all, and I had missed some appointments. I called the office this morning trying to reschedule an appointment and was told they would not reschedule due to the missed appointments (even though there is no notice of such practices in the office or in my paperwork stating this would happen). So I had to find a new PCP and schedule an appointment. I have reported this business to my health insurance as well as this Revdex.com complaint. If this is how they are going to do business, they at least need to make sure their patients know this ahead of time in order to avoid this circumstance. This is very poor patient service.
Desired Settlement: No further contact by the business. None for me, but as explained above, they need to inform their patients of this outcome. I wouldn't have Dr. Wilson back as my PCP if he was the last one available.
is a patient who first saw us in January 2019. She has scheduled at least four subsequent appointments since then and has not kept them nor has she generally called to cancel those appointments. On October 9,2019 to reschedule an appointment she had previously made for October 7,2019, though we had not received a call from her to cancel the October 7,2019 appointment. My receptionist informed the patient that we would not schedule further appointments for her because of multiple missed appointments and her history of failing to call to cancel appointments. Her comment to my receptionist was "Well that's a load off my back you a
e; you can kiss my a
e" We have not dismissed this patient from this practice because of the current physician shortage in northwest Georgia. This patient needs occasional follow up, but should abide by reasonable scheduling practices such as calling to cancel an appointment a day or so beforehand. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I am a solo internal medicine practice, I apologize or the delay in this response.

As I said before, my conditions and medications affect my memory, and Dr. *** knew this. I have a new doctor now and is already treating me better than Dr. 's Office ever did.
