In regards to this case, this customer was one of the most rude customers we have dealt with in yearsNo one on my team 'yelled' at anyoneWe were trying to explain to her the shipping dates for the item she ordered and we were not able to get a word in edgewise. Please dismiss this

This issue has been resolved with the customer and her bed deliveredThe issue was the delivery company had the incorrect contact number of the customerOnce rectified, the delivery was expedited and completed in one dayIt was delivered two days lateIt would have been one day late but the

Explained to this customer at length why the item did not qualify for free returns and that she could confirm the same by looking at her sales receipt which she refused to doStrangeWe also have the manufacturer call her to help her assemble the chair properly and the customer stated that she

This customer conveniently left out the fact that every item on our lists whether an item is returnable or not in the Info & Tips box on the right side of the product detail page, which, we pointed out to her. Link to the item is below. This has been the same policy on strollers since 2002. We...

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]Business failed to leave out that this order was processed through the phone and NOT through their website. Additionally, this particular item was not originally on their website for review.  (As this model was orders through [redacted] and we had contact the company because the item came to us used.  [redacted] took back the stroller and the company proceeded a new order for us via phone order). The information on stroller being non-returnable was not disclosed during the phone order, and information on their "return policy" was provided after the fact.  Furthermore, sales/customer rep did not disclosed and appeared to not know about their policy until the CEO of Fun and Things got involved - in which the CEO disclosed their policy of strollers being non-returnable was since 2002 and stated that retail business cannot sell/resell new open box or used stollers.Lastly, products link provided by the Company can easily be alter/updated after the fact and does not provide definitive proof.  This information should have been disclosed prior and included on the invoice - in which it was not.

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. I am not sure why they keep telling me it never said free returns. First they acknowledged that it said it but told me [redacted] wrote it by mistake. Then they told me it said it but only if it was fulfilled by [redacted]. Then they told me it never said it altogether. And I am not returning it only because the tray is too small. I am returning it because I feel that it is not a sturdy and safe high chair. I have 11 children and 15 grandchildren so I know a bit about child products. It’s not a safe item and I would never put a child in it. I am not the only one having issues with this company their reviews are terrible. I didn’t know that beforehand because their business has more than one name. Just by the way I purchased an addition item from them as well and after email them back and forth they told it it shipped from the manufacturer. After never receiving the item I called the manufacturer directly they said not only didn’t they ship it they don’t even make that item! And They never refunded my money! So you can see what kind of business they are. Lying sad people.

Review: I was guaranteed my product between August 9th and 12th. This was an expensive product carried by multiple other vendors. However, I used this vendor as their delivery date was within my needed time frame.

According, I removed all the furniture from my 4 year old's room. It is now the 16th and no product. I have taken off significant time from work waiting for the product. I keep receiving messages stating that it's on it's way or that the wrong product wound up on the truck. Meanwhile, my 4 year old has no where to sleep. Not one person has been helpful or apologetic. They keep blaming first amazon, then the shipping company.Desired Settlement: I believe that at the very least, I should receive a credit in good faith for my own time off work, effort and aggrevation.

ANd certainly an explanation as to how this possibily could have happened.

Review: I 1st reached out to Modern Nursery in Feb’15 to stop an order purchased for me in Jan'15. The order had still not arrived over a month later & at this point we decided against the item & the long wait. I told them I understood they did not refund money as part of their policy but if they could give me a store credit that would be great. There were many things I was interested in purchasing. After several emails back & forth it became apparent that they had lost the order, blaming FedEx for loosing the order. After several more emails they "found" the order & were ready to issue me a gift cert code. I waited & waited & never received the code. I constantly emailed asking where the code was & was told by their Director of Customer Service that she would send it the following day. That day would pass by & she would say again I will send it tomorrow & so on until April’15. I finally demanded under threat of reporting them to the Revdex.com & taking to social media outlets to receive the code & was emailed the next day. In the meantime there were 2 sales on items I was wanting to purchase that had passed. They knew I wanted these items as they had asked which items I was considering. Making me think they delayed giving me the code on purpose. I received the code & placed my order 3days later, ordering 3 items. The 1st item arrived late May. The 2nd almost June & the 3rd….? I still have not received the 3rd item & it’s almost Nov'15. Each step of this long drawn out process I have had to reach out to them. They have never once reached out to me & said an item was backordered or why an item was delayed etc. After placing this exact review on yelp, emailing the sales director & sending them a private FB message; the owner emailed me back. She called me the rudest customer she has ever dealt with & that she was canceling my order & refunding my card. I replied asking for the reference # & what the total to be refunded was. She never replied & this was Aug’15 when my card was due to be refunded. Again, it is now almost Nov’15 & the $400 has not been refunded nor has the item arrived in leu of a refund. It has been almost a yr of dealing with this. I have given them every opportunity to make this right before making good on my threat of reporting them. Its very frustrating & upsetting that when reached out to, instead of taking responsibility, they through a tantrum like a 2yr old, lashing out, calling their customer names, canceling their order & giving them the silent treatment. Well thats all fine & good if thats how they want to do business but I actually need my money back & not continued empty promises.Desired Settlement: A full refund for the missing order + tax & estimated shipping costs. Now that they have chosen not to produce the item and cancel the order, I will have to purchase the item somewhere else and there will be tax and shipping costs associated. This company offers the item without tax and free shipping which is their appeal when purchasing online.

Review: My husband and I purchased a stroller off the modern nursery (part of the modern living LLC) group because their website states that the item was IN STOCK (And still does). their website also states that items are shipped the same day or within 24 hours and most items are received within 3-5 business days. They claim to be quick and if not, that they will notify customers via email. We were needing the stroller as soon as possible. I put in the order on Monday and on Friday my order was still being processed. I contacted their company, and spoke with one of their representatives who informed me that when an item is in stock, it doesn't mean they have it in their possession, but that it means they could have it or one of their vendors could have it. I find this to be incredibly misleading as all other companies will state that in stock means it is in their possession or will state that it is currently out of stock. According to the rep the only person who could help me locate where the stroller is and how long it would take was owner, [redacted]. She then told me that [redacted] would be the one who I could speak to and file a complaint, however he was out of town and wouldn't be able to get back to me until Monday. She wrote him an email and said he would contact me. He did not. I called the company again on Monday and spoke with another representative who was incredibly rude. I asked for my item to be refunded and how long it would take. She said 2-3 days. I asked to speak with someone from accounting to see if that could be expedited and she said the only person would I could speak with was [redacted] and that he was out of town. I asked for a manager or someone who was in charge while he was gone and she stated that [redacted] was the owner and the only person qualified to make these types of decisions. There should have been someone in upper management I could have spoken to. However it seems any issues are passes to the owner directly and only the owner. I am still waiting to hear from Him.Desired Settlement: I would like my purchase refunded as soon as possible and I would like email confirmation that it has been processed.

Review: I place an order on Nov. 27, 2015 with Modern Nursery ... and the order# was #[redacted] The company charged my credit card for $449.

Since then I never hear anything from the company. I had contact them thru email (twice), telephone 5 times, thru their facebook 2 times, still haven't hear from them. I was wonder if they're still in business? If not I would like my money back. I think they're waited my time and got me.Desired Settlement: I want them to delivery what they promised or give me the money back so I can shop elsewhere.
