As explained on the *** home page for BumperDoc windshield chip repair under Fine print says BumperDoc is not responsible if windshield cracks during repair processWe also explain this to each customer that the windshield is already broken and at times when we inject resin in cracked
windshield there is a possibility it could spreadAs a courtesy we did let customer know we were willing to put in a brand new aftermarket windshield which meets industry and Insurance standards for him or put a used OEM windshield in for him in his year old car at no costWe will not buy customer a brand new oem windshield on his year old *** that was already all chipped up and brokenIf customer is willing to pay the difference for brand new OEM windshield I will be willing to do thisCustomer is being very unreasonable, rude, demanding and very hard to work with.Please let me know if he would like one of these options.Thank you,*** ***FYI:I have also taken a screen shot of *** homepage

[The merchant is not telling the truthAs said earlier he failed to explain to me the risks of having the chip repaired at his facilities, and at no time I was told that the chip could end up into a larger crackMuch less of the size that ended up beingI'd have never used their services if that risk had been explained to meAdditionally, a copy of the form that I received electronically when I looked at *** website did not say anything about the merchant not being responsible for damages Indeed the form that I received with the description and cost of services clearly states (see snapshot attached) that merchant is responsible for the care and quality of servicesThe link that appears in there to their own website does not say anything about not being responsible for damages or explaining any of the risks associated to this particular serviceThe merchant fail to fix the chip, and made the problem worse and should be responsible for paying the damages associated with the purchase and installation of a *** windshield, no second-hand or any other windshield which fails to have the standards of the ***About the rude behavior stated by the merchant that is also falseNevertheless, I have to admit that they may feel uncomfortable when they say lies to customers, change their own statements only a few minutes after they indicate them to customers, and they are later confronted by a customer who demands a fair treatmentThreatening with calling the police because a customer complaints about the poor quality of their service and asks for a copy of the form that gave them a few minutes earlier is not acceptable I also don't understand why the age of my vehicle, which is not years, can be related to the quality of the service offers or damages they should coverI have no doubts that the merchant used advertisement and gave misleading information to me, and failed to explain the risks of its services, verbally when I went there, or in writing in any of the forms that I have access electronically or in hard copy when I purchase the service]

Problem: The vendor agreed to replaced the windshield of my vehicle with a brand new original [redacted] windshield at its own cost. My vehicle was damaged during a simple procedure at Bumperdoc facilities. This event occurred more than 2 months ago. A manager of the store, Mr. [redacted] has not made any attempt to repair my windshield and therefore this complaint has been filed.Desired Outcome: The windshield is replaced with a brand new [redacted] original windshield at no cost to me and as soon as possible.
