Review: In February 2014, a friend and I took our 2 daughters to Mountain Creek for a 3 day weekend of skiing, We purchased a 3 day pass for them to get lessons, to ski, and 3 days of rental equipment. 1. On Saturday, Feb.15 we waited on line 1 hour to get their rental equipment. On Sunday, Feb.16 we waited a full 3 hours (almost 2 hrs of which was outdoors) for the same. When we finally reached the rental desk, we were told we could have gone straight to the head of the line since we had purchased the 3 day pass. This was never communicated to us at any time or at any point in our 3 day visit. We lost 3 hours due to the negligence and poor communication of Mountain Creek staff. Also, by the time the girls went to get ski poles, there were none left in their sizes.2. As the parking lots filled up on Sunday, Feb.16, we were directed to park in a lot 2 blocks away from the resort. The lot was completely covered with packed snow and ice. As cars began to park in makeshift rows, I parked my car following the pattern set by vehicles parking before me. There was plenty of room for cars around me to more in or out of their spaces. When I returned at approximately 3:30 pm, I could see that now there were 3 rows of cars parked head to toe, blocking the middle row of cars from moving. As I approached my car, there was a man claiming to be a policeman attempting to break into my car, telling me I parked illegally and blocked another car from moving. He pointed to a 2-3 foot spot on the lot 3 rows away where the ice had melted, revealing part of a painted parking line. He told me that this showed that the 3rd row of cars (not there when I parked my car there at 9:30 am) were legally parked when I was not. If I hadn't come on the scene when I did, my car would have been towed due to Mtn Creeks negligence. This reveals a very poor lack of supervision, and Why was this extra row of cars allowed to park when they were clearly blocking at least 25 other cars from moving?I want an answer from Mtn Creek.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my 3-day pass since the amount of time for our children to ski was severely limited, and the parents' aggravation and stress led to a very stressful and unpleasant weekend experience, all due to the negligence, poor planning and disregard for customers' safety on the part of Mountain Creek.
