President and CEO [redacted] Heating & Cooling, Inc. [redacted] Dear [redacted]:
Since my wife and I moved to [redacted] from [redacted] three years ago, we have used your company’s seasonal preventative maintenance services.
We chose your HVAC organization over all the others because of the four words in your logo design: quality, innovation, honesty, and integrity. I now realize those words are more than a trademark, they are your legacy.
Recently, we had trouble with our furnace (not a Carrier brand). I spoke to [redacted] who was personable and professional. She had a technician to our home within hours. The problem proved to be a complex set of interconnected mechanical and electrical issues and was not resolved in the first trip. In fact, it took four trips to finally solve the problem.
Our neighbors began to notice the “yellow trucks” in our driveway and asked if the problem was ever going to be resolved. Let me assure you, as I did them, that solving a complex problem correctly is not always simple or fast.
Your technical staff, [redacted], and [redacted] are terrific professionals. Not only did they persevere to solve the problem, they were friendly and treated us with respect. Your company went well beyond what I expected in both service and reasonable pricing to make our home comfortable.
We have become neighborhood ambassadors for your company. I expect to see more “yellow trucks” visiting our neighbors as a result of how well we were treated. It is comforting to know that in this cynical time there is a company that lives up to its legacy.
Appreciatively, [redacted]

Mr. [redacted] has been a preventative maintenance customer since 2012. He renewed the contract for one year in October, 2014 for a spring and fall visit in 2015. We performed the spring preventative maintenance on April 28, 2014 and advised Mr. [redacted] that his unit was failing and...
we provided a proposal for replacement of his air conditioning unit. Mr. [redacted] opted to have another company install a new unit. This is a one year contract to provide service and we have offered the customer to provide the service in the fall to fulfill the contract. We do not offer refunds on the contracts but will provide the service contracted for.
