Review: Complaint #1: On May 29, 2014, I picked up my dry cleaning as usual. When I reached my destination, I discovered that my black sundress had a navy blue belt. I telephoned New Cleaners immediately to report that I had been given a navy blue belt and that my black belt was missing. When I returned the following week, I returned the navy blue belt. As of August 19th, my black belt is still missing. New Cleaners will not pay for a new belt, nor will they give me any service as restitution for losing my belt. I have asked at least one dozen times verbally with [redacted] who is the clerk at the desk. [redacted] is very sweet, but she acknowledges that her employer will not do anything about my loss.Complaint #2: I picked up my dry cleaning on July 18, 2014. On the evening of July 19th I discovered that my new black dress (worn once)was returned with a broken zipper. I telephoned immediately. On 7/21/14 I was given a no charge "Alterations pink tag #A 89640" and told that my zipper would be replaced in 1 week. When I returned on 7/26/14, I was told New Cleaners did not break my zipper and had no intentions of replacing it. I paid $27.19 to replace the zipper. I would like for New Cleaners to pay for the zipper replacement.Desired Settlement: I would like for New Cleaner to pay for my lost belt and to reimburse me $27.19 for the zipper replacement. Bau's Tailor replaced my zipper.I have receipts to confirm all of the above.
