I am rejecting this response because: I can not accept the response until the defects are corrected. Ohio Roofing Solutions has told me the replacement materials are ordered. There is not a definite date set for the repairs.I am looking forward to the completion of the repairs. Regards, [redacted]

To whom it may concern, we are very surprised to get this complaint from the Revdex.com on october 27th with a letter in the mailWe been in contact with *** homeowner through this processWe spoke to him the day before getting this letter and advised him that materials had been ordered and he even
corrected us on making sure we ordered the correct colorsThere no mention about filing a complaintSo the day we got the letter we contacted him to see why this was done since we had spoken to him the day before and had told him materials had been ordered and we were waiting on them to come in. Roof was installed in with representative from *** (roofing manufacturer) onsite who observed the installation and agreed was installed properly. 7-11-(years later) We were contacted about roof leak after record rainfall in city of columbus history with streets flooded at OSU campus and down town high street evacuations going onThis was one of the biggest claims for the year in for storm damage in state of ohioOhio Roofing came out the same day to assess the situationThis more than likely would have qualified for an insurance claim. 7-13-we sent out our crew to tarp roof which was not needed but was done out of good faith, to make customer happy.7-reached out to decry and waiting to hear back from them regarding this. 8-3-homeowner asked me status update I responded same day that I have not heard anything. 8-3-reached back out to *** to see status update had not heard anything yet.8-9-Owner of home talked to *** they said they will not cover the roof even though they trained us and had representative onsite.8-17-came to look at roof again and did investigationAdvised to homeowner that we wanted to do repairs in-house but homeowner wanted to use a *** recommended installer insteadWe could have had project repaired within couple of days but homeowner refused our services and wanted the *** recommended installer. 8-20-contacted *** installer *** *** and advised him of situation and he was unable to come and look at the roof except for the following week but I advised that I was going to be out of town then but would contact him back once I arrived on 9-5-17.8-23-I let homeowner know that I would be out of town till 9-5-and homeowner had this installer come out and look at his roof while I was gone with out me being onsite to see what was seen or spoken aboutI didnt even know until homeowner told me. 9-14-roofer *** has an officer person who does quotes for him but was unaware of thisHe actually does official quotingHave been in touch with him periodically but have made contact to homeowner when I spoke to him to give him updates. Again this is who the homeowner wanted to use to fix his roof not our company who is certified through the NRCA, Master Elite Roofing Contractor (top 3% in US), and certified metal rooferThe contractor who he wanted had caused delays on getting back to us saying he does another job counseling also and works for *** part timeWe just feel it is unfair that we have not avoided the homeowner and been in contact with him through out this process, offered to fix this ourselves, paying for this when this could have been filed with homeowners insurance, and day after ordering materials and letting customer know that we have come to agreement with his contractor he chose that we get a letter from Revdex.com advising of a complaintWe don't know what to do beyond what has already been doneRather than get into a long legal battle with manufacturer *** about the roof which would delay this even more we are fixing it to customers request with installer whom he chose and it is not costing customer any extra money out of pocket
