Review: I came to Optical Insight to get a contact/glasses prescription filled and when I arrived the optometrist on call was different than that advertised and than that I had originally scheduled with. I thought nothing of it and had my exam and got my prescription. It was a hasty process and afterwards when I attempted to order a new set of contacts I realized the brand of contacts they wrote was wrong--therefore I couldn't fill my prescription. I had to return twice more for similar issues of them incorrectly writing my prescription. After the trouble I obviously wasn't confident in their business to have them fill my prescription for my glasses so I went to another company to have that done. A few short months later I started noticing headaches when wearing my glasses for a long period of time. I went to another doctor (because they had the earliest opening) and I was told that the prescription I was given had been 1 to 2 points too much thus causing my [redacted] and [redacted]. I went back to the original doctor and he agreed that the substitute that I first saw when I first went to get a prescription had miscalculated my prescription. When I asked the business owner to correct the issue by refilling my glasses because it was his company that did it incorrectly he began to berate me, raised his voice, screamed that it was my problem, my fault and was very unprofessional. If their calls are recorded --I would seriously ask to hear the tapes. The way this man ([redacted]) treats customers is appalling. I didn't want any trouble, I wasn't asking for money for damages, all I wanted was for him to do the right thing. The cost of replacing the lenses is less than $200--and I'm sure he gets a bigger discount as a business.Desired Settlement: I would like a formal apology and to have my lenses replaced.

after an incorrect prescription was given to her during an examination

preformed with us at Optical Insight's [redacted], NYC location. I

have tried to call [redacted] back to apologize verbally over the phone on 2

attemps and have left a voice mail message with her to let her know I

fabricated new lenses as she wished for her Warby Parker frames. I sincerely

apologize for the incident as I would not wish any negative experiences left on

any of my customers.
