Used vehicles are sold with the remaining manufacturer's warrantyNo additional warranty is given on used vehicles and the selling price reflects the condition, age, mileage and remaining warranty on the vehilcle. The "Used Vehicle Warranty Policy" is clearly explained to the customer and at the time of the sale the customer signs that they understand this policy.After receiving the complaint listed with the Revdex.com a thorough review was conducted of this complaint and it is our finding that the claims presented by the purchaser are inaccurate and untrueThe inaccuracies are as follows:The vehicle in question was purchased on 1/23/as printed on the customers Bill Of Sale. The customer states that they contacted Patriot to report a issue with the vehicle on December 20, but in fact they didnt even own the vehicle at that timeThe vehicle purchased was a model year *** *** with over 100,miles and thus out of the original manufacturers warrantyDue to its' age and mileage this vehcile was sold "As Is" and the customer signed a consent form stating they understood thisAn inspection was done on this vehicle on January 23, (date of sale) and was performed by an outside automotive company (not Patriot)The inspection report clearly states that it was performed on a *** *** Truck model year with the correct Vin # that matches the "Bill of Sale"Patriot would be happy to provide a copy of the Inspection report to the Revdex.com. Patriot was contacted many months after the purchase by the customerAt the time we were contacted the customer had put 7,miles on the vehicle in one of the toughest winters New England has ever seenIt is expected that with that amount of use the truck would require maintenanceThis vehicle was sold as is and based on the time frame and mileage put on the vehicle we will offer no additional assistance
