gave us a referral to a clinic that only accepts medi cal. We scheduled an appointment to relay this information as we have Blueshield and would not be accepted at the referral office. At the appointment he didn’t bother to listen that the referral only accepts medi cal. He didn’t bother to evaluate the patient and said he had nothing to do with the diagnosis and walked out. . He was very rude and no compassion to an ill person. No quality of care whatsoever.
This letter is in response to the complaint filed by the person above on June 2, 2020 on behalf of the patient ***. Following I will truthfully address all of *** complaints to be best of my knowledge.

I am rejecting this response because I want a verbal apology from *** for walking out of the patient evaluation room and for not being more understanding and compassionate. The first referral given to the incorrect facility that accepts medi cal only.If he would have reviewed the patients chart he would have seen the patient did not have medi cal. The second referral was given to my daughter by the *** because my daughter called to place a complaint. *** is stating he does not treat my sons illness, however, he is a Family Doctor. Family Doctors treat a wide variety of health issues including the following:Infant to elderly care.Chronic conditions, such as diabetes, asthma, and heart disease.Ear, nose and throat care.Mental and behavioral health care.Bone and joint care.Eye care.Well-woman care and family planning.Basic testing, such as X-rays.Minor surgical procedures.Emergency medical care.My sons illness is on the list. There was no reason for the doctor to turn away my son away.
