The only reason I am even putting one star on this rating is because there is no way to give a negative This company is absolutely terrible! They don't even have their own trucks! they use Ryder Rental trucks! They act like some sort of mafia straight out of the 1980's era Russian mobThe employees are all very nice, courteous and pleasant to deal withHowever the " [redacted] person and the entire company, given my personal experience in dealing with them, are nothing short of extortioners, liars, and criminals [redacted] For starters the company is fronted by Americans however further investigation reveals its owned and run by a Russian Company and its main movers, foremen (forewomen) whom I've dealt with are not AmericansI do not have a problem with thisWhat I have a problem with is a company pretending to be a US company and not revealing its true source of ownershipProblem number is I contracted with and scheduled with one of their brokers by the name of [redacted] to have my belongings picked up on August 3rd which would have given me a full four days to packThe "dispatcher" who calls himself [redacted] called me at 10:05PM to tell me they had to do my pick up on Saturday August 1stThis phone call at 10:05PM was Friday night July 31stBecause of this I did not have time to downsizeHence the movers were not prepared for the amount that I had to packAdditionally I was told that they "would pack (me) for free" when they called the night beforeThe next morning they attempted to charge me extra for thisI was specifically told that by being picked up on August 1st I would have delivery on August 4th or 5thAugust 4th came, no deliver and no phone call from themAugust 5th cameNo delivery and no phone call from themI could have been at my new job both of those days instead of waiting at the apartmentAfter several phone calls and emails [redacted] calls me to tell me they will deliver my belongings on August 13th through the 15thAnd they further tell me they want cash or money orderAt this very moment they are sitting in my complex refusing to unloadThe [redacted] person has threatened to call the police simply because I refuse to give them cash and there is no way on a weekend after 5PM to obtain a money orderAnd I wasn't CALLED with a delivery date until AFTER 6PM on Friday! Horrible, Horrible, awful company! Unless you want your life made miserable NEVER EVER use this company! Update: They are now going to charge me an "extortion fee" of an additional $plus $which they claim is a "re delivery fee" and a "stair fee." They claim it is because the "stair fee" goes to the delivery crew, which I highly doubt since the pick up crew clearly stated to me that sometimes they "work" for "an entire day and only get paid $30." This makes me wonder if their employees are even on legitimate pay roll where they are adequately compensatedOf course I will pay the "extortion fee" of over $dollars now because they are holding my belongings hostage and I am at their mercyAgain, I highly encourage anyone to stay away from this "company."

I hired this company for an out of state moveI gave them a day window, from the 13th to the 15th, I communicated to the sales person ***, and *** that I gave them a day window because I HAD to leave the 15th, they all noted and agreedI received a text message from their driver the 14th saying that as planned they would drive up and meet me at the pick up location the 15th, here comes the 15th and I got another message saying that as planned they were going to be here the next day, the 16tha day lateNow *** said once picked up, it goes directly to you in to business days, this is very very far from the reality*** contacted my company the 21th of July and said that the movers were arriving to the drop off location the Following day the 22nd, My company made the payment via wire transfer and as soon as they made the payment suddenly the delivery was not going to be possible until the 28th to the 30th, you can imagine mine and my company surprise with this delay, while all of this is going my company higher ups are trying to get in touch with the owners or representatives of the company for an explanation and to complain since the extra time was costing them money, and all they were able to do was to get in touch with *** who toll them not to complain to him, that all of this was not costing him any money, that he didn't understand why was this job so screw up reason why he didn't want anything to do with it and to basically F themselves, now *** is about the worst customer representative that I ever had to deal with, his incompetence knows no boundaries and I can't even understand how a guy like that has a job
The 28th came by and all we got was another message saying that now the delivery would take place from the 1st to the 3rd and finally the stuff arrived here the 1st of August night timeSo after days later and thousands of dollars in hotel accommodations and fees all has come to an end
I hired this company because of their reviews, I really doubt those reviews are legit and advise EVERYBODY to stay away from them

Pick Up Movers presented us perfect moving serviceWe were searching for honest, trustworthy and professional moving company but were not able to select the perfect oneMy wife's cousin suggested us to hire Pick Up MoversWe hired them for a move from TN to FL and it went incredibly smoothlyFrom start to finish Alex the foremen and his crew did everything perfectlyThey were really polite, generous and extraordinary hard working guysThey finished the job with great care We will definitely use Pick Up Movers again!

I had heard horror stories about long distance moving so I shopped several companiesI hired Pick Up Movers because Pierre explained to me the valuation policy and the accountability of the movers to my belongingsThe other companies would only guarantee cents/poundPierre's estimate for our bedroom house was accurate and the movers were all professionalI was never afraidThey worked hard and fast, after days they delivered my belongings to FLI haven't unpacked everything yet, but so far, not one thing is brokenAlex and Wali and the crew were terrific!

Pick up Movers was a pleasure to work withThey were on time, courteous and kept to their work estimateThey kept me informed every step of the processI would highly recommend them and would use them again

The crew members were very goodQuick and great attitudesEven in the light rain they kept movingTell them thanks again for me

e called this company to relocate our non-profit organization from Downtown Miami to even further South Florida. Of course, we were nervous because there were so many items and we didn't want to close the organization for too long.

It was extremely easy to work with this company. They maintained communication throughout the entire move regardless of the time and this is definitely something valued in moving experiences. We ran out of materials and in one call- they were instantly helpful and provided more.

The crew that came worked well together. Fast and organized- they wrapped and packed things at warp speed- it took me like 30 minutes to wrap one item ^-^ whereas it took about 30 seconds for them. They definitely know what they are doing and it impressed me and a few of the people working with me. We stood back and watched with open mouths =)

I am surprised at some of these reviews- people complaining about prices most likely don't even read the contract they sign. Shame.
We read everything and signed away-- and we knew what we were being charged because we were informed. Once again, this company actually communicates with their customers (unlike others I've dealt with).

This experience was a pleasant and impressive one. I don't think enough credit goes out to movers- people are too quick to be negative and harsh and don't acknowledge good and honorable work when it is right in their faces.
These guys were great and we managed to re-open within four days of moving.

I recommend them without a doubt.

The only reason I am even putting one star on this rating is because there is no way to give a negative 100. This company is absolutely terrible! They don't even have their own trucks! they use Ryder Rental trucks! They act like some sort of mafia straight out of the 1980's era Russian mob. The employees are all very nice, courteous and pleasant to deal with. However the "[redacted] person and the entire company, given my personal experience in dealing with them, are nothing short of extortioners, liars, and criminals. [redacted]

For starters the company is fronted by Americans however further investigation reveals its owned and run by a Russian Company and its main movers, foremen (forewomen) whom I've dealt with are not Americans. I do not have a problem with this. What I have a problem with is a company pretending to be a US company and not revealing its true source of ownership. Problem number 2 is I contracted with and scheduled with one of their brokers by the name of [redacted] to have my belongings picked up on August 3rd 2015 which would have given me a full four days to pack. The "dispatcher" who calls himself [redacted] called me at 10:05PM to tell me they had to do my pick up on Saturday August 1st. This phone call at 10:05PM was Friday night July 31st. Because of this I did not have time to downsize. Hence the movers were not prepared for the amount that I had to pack. Additionally I was told that they "would pack (me) for free" when they called the night before. The next morning they attempted to charge me extra for this. I was specifically told that by being picked up on August 1st I would have delivery on August 4th or 5th. August 4th came, no deliver and no phone call from them. August 5th came. No delivery and no phone call from them. I could have been at my new job both of those days instead of waiting at the apartment. After several phone calls and emails [redacted] calls me to tell me they will deliver my belongings on August 13th through the 15th. And they further tell me they want cash or money order. At this very moment they are sitting in my complex refusing to unload. The [redacted] person has threatened to call the police simply because I refuse to give them cash and there is no way on a weekend after 5PM to obtain a money order. And I wasn't CALLED with a delivery date until AFTER 6PM on Friday! Horrible, Horrible, awful company! Unless you want your life made miserable NEVER EVER use this company!

Update: They are now going to charge me an "extortion fee" of an additional $500 plus $225 which they claim is a "re delivery fee" and a "stair fee." They claim it is because the "stair fee" goes to the delivery crew, which I highly doubt since the pick up crew clearly stated to me that sometimes they "work" for "an entire day and only get paid $30." This makes me wonder if their employees are even on legitimate pay roll where they are adequately compensated. Of course I will pay the "extortion fee" of over $1600 dollars now because they are holding my belongings hostage and I am at their mercy. Again, I highly encourage anyone to stay away from this "company."

First, some background. I am retired military and have moved nearly a dozen times during my career.

I hired this company to move my mother from FL to GA. PickupMoversLLC ranks among the top 5% of all the moving experiences I have had. From start to finish they were professional AND clearly concerned about protecting my mother's household goods. [redacted] even gave me his cell number to contact him 7 days a week to answer any concerns that might crop up.

Bill, the dispatcher, kept me in the loop about when to expect delivery, even as my delivery date had to change on my end because of unforseen circumstances.

And one more thing there was damage to a lamp, even though it was wrapped in bubble wrap and blankets. Hey, after having moved a dozen times myself, I know these thngs happen. But, even though we carried the minimum insurance against breakage (we would have been reimbursed about $15), this company offered us $100! (I did not take their offer because I was so pleased with their work from start to finish, and would have felt like I was being unfair to take the money).

Would I use this carrier again? Absolutely yes.

Very professional and moved us quickly! I would recommend them to anyone!

Excellent moving company. I had a local move from Fort lauderdale to Pompano. They quoted me a good price, and 3 quick, polite guys moved all my things. I highly recommend them.

Helping with pricing is really helpful but my industrial machine suffered a lot they started taking my machine apart before askin me anything a piece on my machine had a piece on it tht was broken they tried to unscrew another part on my machine and couldn't get it out it had another screw on it it's messing only one of my beds was put together and I had to put my machine back together it was super annoying btw other then tht they was friendly
