Having recently had a bad experience with a local mover, I was a little hesitant to look for another A quick internet search identified Platinum Relocations I read the on-line reviews and took a quick look at the website and decided to ask for a quote Making a long story short, the quote was much lower than I expected and we scheduled the move Samantha was the coordinator and extremely helpful in getting the move scheduled Follbefore the move day was excellent Justin and Eddy were the team that arrived - a little late, but they called well in advance to advise traffic was bad These two gentlemen were well dressed, polite, professional and got right to work All items were wrapped for protection and both of these gentlemen kept me well informed during the entire load and unloading process This was a great experience and I would highly recommend Platinum Relocations for your move Justin and Eddy are a shining example of great customer service and a credit to their organization
This is a fabulous moving company and highly recommend for your next move I was impressed with the online reviews and then scheduled an in-home visit for an estimate Leon was very professional and took the time to answer my questions His estimate was very close to the actual price We signed with them on Oct and did not move until June Every month after our initial scheduled move which was February, I would receive a call to make sure all was going well and to let them know when I would be moving Called and scheduled the move date and they were on time with an early start Mark and Jessie again answered any questions I had, carefully packed our furniture and my one antique table They were careful with moving in and out not to damage/mark walls etc We were putting lots of stuff in our garage and they arranged the boxes so we are able to move on either side as we work through them I can't say enough about the excellent service they both provided For your next move, check these guys out They are the best!

I had Platinum Relocations do a full move for my family of on 7/22/ They were all very professional and caring with our belongings They all walked in and introduced themselves personally They were very respectful and professional We did a walk through of the house and told them what went where in the new house They loaded the truck accordingly so we would be able to unload at the new house room by room This made our move much easier They padded and wrapped everything very well My wife wondered why they padded the patio furniture pillows, but when you're dealing with a first class company, you get first class service I have a pound safe that I was concerned with moving but I was promised by Matt that the crew could handle it His confidence in his guys definitely made me feel more at ease I must admit, they handled that safe like they are moving huge safes every day They got it out of the house and into the truck with no problems I was very impressed with this mover We have moved in the past and the experiences were not that good I was expecting the same here but Platinum Relocations far exceeded my expectations I would highly recommend them for any size move We filled a semi with everything we have Thank you Platinum for an excellent experience

Well, I usually don't like to say anything unless positive, but I can't stay quiet todayI gave the company my grief but they blew me off and have not received an apology yetAll these positive reviews lead me to chose Platinum and I can't let someone else fall in this trapYou'll be your own judge and I am a seasoned mover having been in the military all over the world and this was my worst experience from A to ZFirst they came with a different size truck not per estimate listing a tractor and a pup trailer which was reconfirmed recentlyI'll save on the details.So to my surprise the day of the move I got a pup trailer onlyThe team had to call for another truckThey were not very productive, there was some arguing between the members of the team and one walked out and I heard it was about his third timeSo they had to bring another guy tooThe boss came a few hours later and was showing them tricks of the trade, like taping a cardboard to the stairs to go faster and telling them to use their heads and teamworkI thought we would move faster then but no, because with that system, some document boxes opened up and my papers were all spread out and mixed up, like I didn't have enough workI helped one of the guys pick them up and I was stuck downstairs and at that point should have been packing the wardrobe boxes they were supposed to loan me too and they brought them later but we were too close to finish for me to start packing (2) full closetsI had also notified of the amount of mirrors and table tops and they said they would provide themLong story short, my mirrors are still at my old house waiting for me to move in the next few days with everything else they couldn't fit in truck including 1/of the plants they promised me they would takeThey packed only (2) table tops out of and shelves of Chinese cabinet and of a baker's rack stayed behind tooNothing got broken there, thanks God but wait it is coming! However, there were some black marks on the dining room table and one of the guys said it was the support which marred the table top insulting my intelligence after owning it for the last years, stating I must not have seen before!At the end they did also say, "we did bring you mirror packs" maybe but not enough!
The same black marks are on my white entrance door and not there before either Anyway they didn't take the table lamps and I had but they took (2) large floor lamps, a gold and a silverThey brought them in last, when they were speeding because they had already spent hours on this move, probably after figuring out that one was brokenThey started at 8:a.mand finally left my old house hours later and we had to travel another mn to get to the next houseThe boss told me it wouldn't take another hours, but it didSo I understand it was a long move and everyone was cranky especially towards the endI had myself slept only hours the night before to have everything packed for them and didn't eat nor drink My husband bought them lunch at McDonald in the 5th hourI wasn't told they wouldn't take the lamps, that they were supposed to be in boxesOMG I could write a book on this move looks likeI'll try to be more conciseAnyway I had organized my move, inventoried, numbered and checking off my list as they wentThey were mocking me here and there about it, saying I lost track trying to throw me off, but I was on topI have been Purchasing Director and had to receive truck loads for at least years, so I know how to receive! Anyway, bottom line when they were rushing me at the end to sign papers at the end of that long day, I was looking for a few boxes and they were saying that they didn't see them and that I was "SENILE" and he wasn't jokingThey had broken the gold floor lamp and since I didn't take insurance, which he supposedly "explained" to me in these exact words "there is an insurance but you got to go on line"Estimate also states" Free insurance provided"He knew I was between houses and had services transferred to the new house the next daySo I signed the papers naively, after all they are "platinum" and have all those great reviews! I regret it at the end, but you get rushed and bullied on signing the papers and they take advantage of you knowing you are already stressed..Bottom line missing boxes and still not here nor at the old house! They were in a hurry to go home and were"BULLYING" me in signing and paying and I had no right to contest or look for boxes, they were going to charge me for the time and they did Already wasted an hour fixing the mess with two of the team who seemed to care a little moreIt really got ugly towards the end thoughOne of the guys mentioned "theft of services" they were going to call the cops, started recordingSo broken lamp among other damaged pieces, missing boxes, called me senile and tagged another 1/hour and they mumbled something about old people while exiting

We are in the midst of a home renovationOur Contractor announced that they would be creating a LOT of dust the over the next several days and he was concerned about our furniture We called Platinum Relocations, texted them pictures of the furniture that we needed moved, and they gave me a very fair price over the phoneI explained that we were in a time crunch and Claudia (who answered their phone) was very nice & extremely helpfulArrangements were made for the furniture to be picked up that SAME DAY! Who does that?? We were DELIGHTED The movers that came were professional, wrapped our furniture securely, carefully loaded it on their truck, and took it to their storage facilityWhen we are ready for it's return, it will be as easy as a phone call We LOVE Platinum Relocations! My experience with this company was greatI used them last year to move my moms things to assisted livingThe move went flawlessly then and so when it came time for me to move to a new house, I called PlatinumThey were extremely careful with my things and went the extra mile...literally when they took some of my things to storageI don't usually write reviews, but this was exceptional
Awesome movers! They were very honest from the start on time frame and pricingNo hidden feesThey were extra careful with my stuff and probably protected it better than I would have! They even saved me some money by getting it done faster than what was quotedI would definitely use them again
Our movers called me a half hour earlier to let me know they were on their way. They introduced themselves and were very polite. Andre and Eric were able to easily assess the situation and start loading my moving truck right away. I was on the 3rd floor with 3 flights of stairs and was so happy they were there. They were very careful with the big furniture and fragile boxes. I was worried that it would take longer than I originally thought but was really surprised how quick they were. I was only charged for an hourly rate while the other competitors wants extra per flight of stairs, and per heavy furniture item. I am overall extremely happy with the service and their hard work to make sure the items were carefully loaded in my moving truck!

They took great care with all of our belongings, wrapping them safely before loading them in a very organized manner. We had furniture and boxes in an apartment and a storage unit and they worked with us to figure out the best method to move everything from those 2 locations to our new house and during heavy rain storm. Our move took place on 8/1/15.
My roommate and I utilized services provided by Platinum Relocations in March, 2016. Neither of us had used movers before, but after so many moves, we were sick of moving our things. We are both equally satisfied with the service provided by Platinum Relocations. The salesmen were thorough and friendly when offering their quoted price. The quoted price was exactly the price we paid after the move was completed. The movers themselves were incredibly efficient and friendly! I have their names written down at home, but I'm doing this review at work. I wish I could insert their names here as a giant shout out to their amazing customer service! I will definitely call them back if I move again and will recommend them to anyone who needs movers.

We needed to move my MIL from her 2nd floor apartment to a 1st floor after she was released from rehab for a broken hip. I emailed three local movers and Platinum Relocations was the winner! They promptly replied to my email and set up an appt. to get an estimate. David, our estimator, would check in periodically with us prior to the move to see if we required anything. On the day of the move, Bam and his co-worker were efficient and had everything done 30 minutes earlier than expected. They were courteous and friendly! The office staff was also helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. Thank you!!
