So far, and I have been using them for two years, their bills have been great. I average about 1.4-1.7% total every month and I am thrilled to have their service. I think it's truly distasteful that Revdex.com doesn't post the good reviews.

THEY SET ME UP WITH A 4 YEAR LEASE FOR A POS SYSTEM AT $191.00. I COULD OF BOUGHT IT FOR UNDER $3000. NEVER TOLD ME
JULY OF 2017 A SALESMAN (DARELL *** OF PRAETORIAN PAYMENT CAME INTO MY NEW BUSINESS TO SET ME UP WITH CREDIT CARD PROCESSING, THEY HAD GOOD PRICES. THEN THEY WANTED TO SET ME UP WITH A POS SYSTEM FOR MY PUB. THEY TOLD ME ITS THE BEST AND ITS ONLY $169. PER MONTH 48 MONTH LEASE, THEY WILL SET IT UP AND SEND SOMEONE TO ME TO TRAIN MY STAFF ON HOW TO USE IT. I DID THE DEAL. THE POS CAME 8/28/17 AND THEY INSTALLED IT, 1HR AFTER THE INSTALL I GET A PHONE CALL FROM FOODTRONIX (SOFTWARE) FOR MY 1HR TRAINING, I TOLD THEM NO, SOMEONE IS COMING TO ME THEY SAID THEY DONT DO THAT. I CALLED STEVE *** OWNER OF PRAETORIAN PAYMENTS, HE SAID THEY DONT DO THAT, BUT YOUR SALESMAN TOLD ME YOU DID, HE SAID NO. WE TRIED THE TRAINING OVER THE PHONE AND COULD NOT GET IT SET UP. AT THAT TIME I TOLD STEVE *** I DIDN'T WANT THE POS TAKE IT BACK HE SAID HE WILL TRY,1 WEEK LATER HE CALLED AND SAID HE CANT TAKE IT BACK. SO AFTER SEVERAL CALLS TO STEVE *** TO TAKE IT BACK I STOPPED PAYMENTS TO THE LEASE COMPANY (LOGICAL LEASE) AT THAT TIME STEVE *** DECIDED TO SEND SOMEONE TO SET IT UP AND TRAIN.AFTER TRAINING WE STARTED TO GET USE TO IT AND WITH A LOT OF HELP FROM FOODTRONIX WE ARE STILL USING IT. 20 MONTHS AT $191.NOT $169. THAT I WAS TOLD, is $3820. I have paid. NOW BUSINESS IS GREAT AND IM IN NEED OF A 2nd ONE, I CALLED FOODTONIX TO GET A PRICE ON A NEW ONE AND THEY TOLD ITS $2,800. FOR A COMPLETE SYSTEM. AT NO TIME DID PRAETORIAN, STEVE *** TELL ME I COULD OF PAID $2,800. FOR A NEW ONE. I WOULD OF BOUGHT IT NOT LEASE IT. A BIG RIP OFF. THE MISREPRESENTATION SHOULD OF NOT HAPPENED, THEY SHOULD OF TOLD ME IN THE BEGINNING. WHY WOULD ANYONE PAY $9,168 WHEN I COULD OF PAID $2,800. THERE BUSINESS PRACTICE IS A SCAM TO MAKE 3X THE AMOUNT. FOODTRONIX NO LONGER DOES BUSINESS WITH PRAETORIAN PAYMENTS BECAUSE OF HOW THEY TREATED ME AND OTHERS. THE OWNER OF FOODTONIX SAID WHAT THEY DID WAS WRONG AND THEY DIDN'T WANT ANY RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM THEY WERE BAD FOR BUSINESS, WITH BAD MISLEADING PRACTICES.STEVE *** SHOULD BE ASHAMED FOR WHAT HE DID, HIGHWAY ROBBERY

Desired Outcome

AFTER BEING MISLEAD AND I HAVE PAID $3820 FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS $2800. STEVE *** OF PRAETORIAN PAYMENT SHOULD PICKUP THE REMAINING BALANCE OF THE LEASE AND I OWN THE EQUIPMENT (POS SYSTEM). AS IT IS NOW I WILL BE STUCK PAYING OVER $9000. AND NOT OWN IT AFTER THE LEASE IS PAID. I WOULD HAVE TO BUY IT AT MARKET PRICE.

They misrepresented themselves. They tricked me into signing a lease agreement without my knowledge. The gear never worked and there was NO support.
They played upon my sympathies for veterans, Tricked me into signing a lease that I was unaware of. The equipment NEVER worked. The only way that the rep could get the equipment to connect was to stand in the parking lot holding the device over his head. When he left, he told me that it would connect properly once the battery was fully charged, which was a lie. Repeated calls for customer assistance went unanswered and eventually they took the non-working equipment back without ever trying to solve the problem. I then discovered that my checking account was being debited by a 3rd party for a lease that I was unaware that I had signed. The rep apparently slipped the paperwork into the releases that would allow them to deposit funds into my account without telling me. If I had known that the equipment was being leased for almost $1500.00 I never even would have considered it. The equipment from Square is free, and Square provides POS and item tracking software that Praetorian does not supply. The bottom line is that they knew in advance that their system would cost me a lot more that Square, yet they sold me on a fraction of a percent lower rate on transactions without revealing the enormous increase in my costs. Then, when the equipment would not work, they would not return my calls or provide ANY customer support.

Desired Outcome

Probably over a year ago, but I have called several times and only got voicemail - none of my calls have been returned. However, I have been dealing with the leasing company on a regular basis. (They have sent me to a collection agency!) I will be filing a separate complaint against the leasing company as soon as I finish filing this complaint. (First Data)

I am a small business and have been paying high credit card fees for a long time, and dealing with charge backs. Via a phone call a rep came out and explained the different programs Praetorian has to offer. We gave them a shot and we are so glad we did. Our monthly bill has almost been cut in half for over 6 months now. Along with no more charge backs. We could not be happier. We did have to call customer service once and they took care of everything. Steve the owner was great in helping our company, they are truly a great and honest company.

After years of paying high fees. I finally found this company via a phone call. I am glad I listened. They change me over to there program and it has cut my credit card fees by over 85%, what a life saver. I never have to worry about fees again. And the support is Great.

Started with with service, after a lot of hard searching. They have not only lowered my fees every single month, but have been extremely helpful in getting out of previous contract, they even paid my cancellation fee. These guys are truly the best in the industry!

I've been mislead by the sales rep. I received the incorrect payment equipment then notified the sales rep again about it so I couldn't make any credit card payments. I've been leaving numerous messages for the Owner Steve to cancel my contract with them since they never fullfilled their part of the contract and this company continues to debit $62 monthly from my bank account. I've tried so many times to contact the owner since apparently he is the only one who can cancel accounts. Each time I call the 800 number I get the run around from the secretary and continue to leave messages that never get returned. I've let them know that I do not have any of their equipment and I need to cancel this account and get reimbursed for these monthly fees that they keep taking out of my bank. They are a scam artist!

Desired Outcome

Refund All I am asking for is to have this "contract" cancelled and a refund for all the times they have been taking out of my bank account since the beginning of this year 2017.
