Pioneer Pole Buildings offers a year workmanship warranty. The steel roofing warranty is a warranty offered by the paint company. In order to file a claim you need to fill out a claim form. The customer did not have his information for the warranty claim and we tried our best to
locate it from close to years ago. We did with the help of the vendor locate the information and submitted the claim. We replaced the screws as a customer service issue. The warranty process is submitted to our vendor who in turn needs to submit it to the paint vendor. The warranty covers replacement of the panels only. material only after the year workmanship warranty expires. The process was followed correctly and we apologize for the time delay. Pioneer has over 20,buildings on the ground and has had less than 2% of these buildings in need of even filing a claim. If all proper information is provided in the claim process it is handled in weeks and not months. This matter is a claim towards the manufacturer and not Pioneer. Pioneer is just helping with the process as a customer service process. Pioneer has already asked for a meeting to address this for the customer with the paint vendor to ask for a site visit and panel testing. This is not a process that is common but can be done. This was not expressed to the customer because we are not sure it will be approved. The coil that produces the roofing material was researched and has zero claims logged on the material. This claim of Pioneer wanting to get around not warranting anything is just and misleading. Pioneer was attentive and responsive and with the lack of proper submittal was delayed in processing the claim. The cost of replacing the roof is the going rate to replace a roof. Pioneer will continue to work with our vendors to come to a conclusion but the customer needs to be aware that since he is denied the claim Pioneer will still try to do our best for him in continuing to contact the vendor. I would assume the onsite testing will uncover the reason for the failure and identify the condition because the roof just doesn't rust without a cause. Once that is done I would assume if it is found to be nothing the vendor will reverse their denial or the customer will file another complaint with the Revdex.com. Pioneer has a Revdex.com rating of A+ because we are attentive to our customer needs. Just because the answer is not what the customer wants to hear does not make it a valid claim... We will do our best and continue the process. I hope in the end we can bring the complaint to close in a positive way for all involved. Thank you, Bob G*** President PPBInc

December 10, 2015This letter is to inform you that we are returning your check of $as insufficient to be considered your final paymentYour final payment is $1,on the contract and an additional $for the extra work provided outside of the contractYou cannot charge Pioneer for "Labor and
equipment to excavate over burden debris, grade to subgrade for floor, compact around pressure treated poles and haul spoilage away." None of this was included in the Pioneer contract #***.This letter is our obligation to inform you that you have days to make full payment or we will start the collection procession on you The collection process can include a property lien on the work done and also voids all warranties for non-paymentThe conclusion to this matter is up to you and I hope you make payment to save us both the time, energy and money of going through the collection process. Thank you, Bob G. President

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
As the facts will reveal, Pioneer Building performed very substandard work with total regard to the way they left the site after correcting the misplacement of the holesThis was their mistake and they totally destroyed a level excavated area that was required by Pioneer, and signed off by Pioneer, prior to them performing any workThe offer to come out and inspect the way they left the site was made in writing several times to the president Bob G***. Pioneer was given the options several times in writing to make the needed correctionsHe flat out refused to even look at the siteIn order to complete the building I had to first correct the damage left by PioneerThis came at an added expenseMrG*** was also notified, in writing, that if he refused to make the necessary corrections, that there would be an expense associated with this, and charged to PioneerIt feel very disappointed that I saw absolutely no effort made by MrG*** to even look at the damage to the site and or make the needed correctionsHe would rather go to court to settle this disputeI stand by my previous complaintPioneer is ultimately responsible for the sub standard work and damage that was doneBy refusing to correct the site, they are also responsible for the expense of having someone else make the needed corrections. I will also have no choice but to add any expenses that I may incur providing legal council if this is the way MrG*** chooses to resolve this issue.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI will wait for a response from the vendor to see if it warrants a site visit to see the rust first hand, thank you

Pioneer Pole Buildings is responding to complaint, we are scheduling a repair to take care of leak on 11/23/15.Bryan KCustomer service manager

We will forward his complaint to be reconsidered by the vendor.  Pioneer has already requested a site visit by the vendor before this complaint was filed with the Revdex.com.  There is nothing more to add to this until this action can be given time to proceed.

October 5, 2015In response to the complaint filed against Pioneer Pole Buildings I would like to address the concerns. Pioneer has tried to address concerns with [redacted] on multiple occasions and he has conveniently avoided the conclusion of the project, I will address his concerns in the...

letter with the same answers that we have provided him multiple times.1.  Under both entry doors there is a difference of 2" of trim missing. ([redacted]'s first issue)a.   We clearly stated on the first time this was asked that there is no trim under the sill of the entry door. It is left wood because of possible concrete installed and also because it is an area that is kicked and entry and would be damaged easily. This is standard detail on all Pioneer buildings and [redacted] saw this when he visited our sample building on our property before purchasing the building,2.  2x4 to right of door is standard pine and is exposed to weather. ([redacted]'s second issue)a. All exposed wood or within 6" of the ground on exterior of the building is treated lumber. This was checked and confirmed by crew foreman that built the building, Quality Control inspector from Pioneer and also by repair guy from Pioneer that went to adjust sliding door. The lumber that [redacted] is requesting be treated is a part of the upper door framing and does not meet the criteria to needing to be treated lumber. It is not exposed to the weather and is a minimum of 24” away from the ground.3. Clearly seen in photo upper roof is not square with lower roof and has a difference of 2". ([redacted]'s third issue.)a. This is the area that we set up to review with [redacted] and allowed him to set the date and time to meet our representative on site. He agreed to do that on Friday August 28 at 8am. On that date our representative showed up at 8am and waited for [redacted] until 8:20am and at that time called him to see what time he would arrive. [redacted] told him he would not be coming and was not concerned that he set the appointment. Did not want to reschedule and basically gave very little reasoning Our representative took the time to set up a laser and check all aspects of the building and found it to be within all post frame tolerances and having less than a half inch. After the last site visit t became clear to Pioneer that [redacted] was avoiding final payment and not committed to a fix of any issues. This complaint only comes after we have informed [redacted] that we will start the collection process for his contracted final payment. The paperwork starting the collection procedure has been filed and will be delivered to [redacted] by the court. So there is no guess of seeing us in court, it is a promise, We will present more detailed information and pictures at the collections proceedings.Thank you, Robert G. President
