We originally met Prince William Home Improvement at a farmers market on a Saturday morningMy husband and I were in the market to have a deck builtWe decided to call them since they were so knowledgeable and helpfulWe established a relationship with them and decided to have them come out and provide us with a quoteWe thought the quote was fair and in line with other deck builders in the areaWe described the kind of deck we were interested in and they immediately drew up the design on paperIt was our ideal deck! We were so please with our sales rep and the follow up from the officeThey obtained approval from the association and quickly started our dream deckThey started on a Monday and finished FridayThe deck crew started at 7:am and worked hard until 6:pmOnce they were finished with everything the final clean up was to our satisfactionWe highly recommend this company if you are ever in the market for a deckWe are one happy customer:)

PWHI is a great business Anytime I've had an issue, they've gone out of their way to make it right I let them install a backyard patio and landing three years ago and have added to it each year since I love the fact that they give a lifetime warranty on their products I have gotten rave reviews from family, friends, and neighbors regarding how beautiful my patio looks I have nothing but good to say regarding this business

I contracted with Prince William Home Improvement for my deck resurfacing project. The entire team was very professional and communicative throughout the entire process. They kept me updated every step of the way during the project. I would highly recommend using them for projects of this nature.

Absolutely fantastic folks. They did exactly what we agreed upon and sooner than scheduled. Workmanship is above standard. we are very happy with our Deck.

We have ordered replacement material, which is a special order item and will take some time to arrive, and will be replacing some of the material on the customer's landing on the project to bring it up...

Review: I contracted this company to build a patio on my house on December 2012. While I was away from home, assigned to the Republic of [redacted], there were some issues with the patio that my wife had to deal with. She contacted the company in several occasions resulting on no responses. When finally got a response and agreed for the repairs, the contractors did not show up on time and took more time than expected. My wife got fed up and asked for me to deal with the company upon my arrival to the states. I did stop by the show room and make a few phone calls while on my mid tour leave and agreed for some work to be done but the company could not get around it before I departed back to [redacted]. Upon my return, October 2013, I noticed more issues with the patio and tried to contact the company by calling and visiting their show room with the same outcome as in the past. Empty promises on contacting me or sending personnel on the dates we agreed. In two occasions pavers became loose on the steps on the patio making me almost fall and God knows what it could happen. They sent the same crew that at this time have already been at my house on two different occasions to "fix" the problem. The steps still not done correctly and pavers till came loose again. For the their time, the company sent the same crew to "fix" the problem. After done with the patio, the company sent a Quality Manager, **. [redacted], which I have spoke with in a couple of times, to review the work. He reviewed and asked if I was "happy" with the work. I was tired of the same routine and having these contractors coming to my house "fixing" things that I said yes not to deal with them no more. The patio was still not done correctly but at this point I was fed up. Once again, coming down the steps, pavers came loose and I almost fell. I contacted **. [redacted] in May, since I left a few messages for **. [redacted] and did not get a response, in which she pulled my records on her screen and saw that the contractors have been in my house three different times "fixing" the patio. They agreed to send a new crew to come to my house and "fix" the patio one more time. Did it really had to be me to tell this company not to send a crew for the 4th time to "fix" something they are not "fixing"? **. [redacted] sent a person to conduct a report on my patio in which I pointed out a lot of things I believed to be wrong with it but I was told that the report would be written and given to the company and could not have a copy. When **. [redacted] called me back, she referred me to was **. [redacted] which he agreed not to send the same crew. He also let me know that the patio will be sealed upon completion. **. [redacted] showed up 16 Jun to "fix" the patio. One of the crew members he brought with him was from the old crew that had come to my house three different times. I asked **. [redacted] to please send him away which he agreed to. The patio is "finished" (I still not "happy" with it), as of 19 Jun but no sealant has been applied to it. I have tried to call **. [redacted] in three different occasion and left voice mails on his cellphone. On 25 Jun, my phone rang once around 9pm with **. [redacted] number. I called him once again but did not get an answer and making me leave another voice mail.Desired Settlement: I want the company to finish the job; to follow up on the work conducted by their contractors; to send a a representative to inspect the work completed; to keep the promise of adding the sealant; to follow up with the customer and receive feedback of the job "done"; to keep their promises; to allow me to get a quality manager/inspector from another company to make sure the job is done right this time and reimburse me for it. An apology for wasting my time and resources to get them to do something right when they should have done it from the first time. I do understand that this work is done by human beings and it will not be perfect; but having this "fixed" four times in a year and a half is unacceptable.

Review: I thought I was purchasing a deck and patio at a fair price.

The sales presentation promised the following:

1. The highest quality workmanship, besting the competition in every respect.

2. The highest quality material compared to any other company.

3. A company rep that would work with us, address our concerns, and answer any of our questions during the whole process.

4. Fair and honest (non-discrimantory/not deceptive) upfront pricing.

5. Approx. 4-6wks max to complete the job.

What I received was:

1. Workers without oversight, proper understanding of the design specs and less than what they needed in the way of tools (insufficient).

2. Same materials that nearly every other contractor uses.

3. Practically no attention to us, as customers, and disputes over what was promised during the sales presentation vs. what was delivered in the plans and build.

4. Blatant lies regarding fair pricing, deceptive and high pressure sales tactics, and a complete disconnect between the sales reps and the home office.

5. 4 separate appts, constant hassles and 4mos+ to finally complete the job.Desired Settlement: A refund of payment already made in the amount of $2,774.
