In regards to the patient’s account. Our records indicate that our billing  department made an adjustment for the $65.00 on 08/11/2016. Our facility and his provider had a mutual agreement for referral services. Previously, we had discontinued that agreement around the time of his visit, and...

unfortunately, the billing passed through as an oversight. However, I just spoke with Mr. [redacted] and he said that the complaint and billing crossed and he is satisfied with the resolution. If you need anything further, please let me know.

It is our policy to we collect a minimum of $110.00 for any deductibles that have not been met. I was not here that day and was unaware of the circumstances of the conversation directly. Only what I was told when the patient called me. Regarding the refund timeframe not being processed,...

that was an oversight handled outside of our local office. The patient has received a refund back to his cc as of today and we hope this resolution has been resolved to his satisfaction.

I am rejecting this response because: as of Thursday at 7:00 pm there has been no credit applied to my credit card that was used another delay and untrue statement.

[redacted],    I am responding to your letter that we received on October 31st, in regards to ID [redacted]. After my investigation to this complaint I have determined the following. This refund was not handled within the guidelines of our refund process. The refund request was initiated in June but the refund of $60.00 was not sent for approval until September. The refund check was mailed out on 10/5/17, and the check was cashed by the patient on 10/23/17. We should process all refunds within a 90 day turnaround time, and this refund was delayed outside of that timeframe with no valid explanation. Due to this complaint our processes have been reviewed and improved to ensure all patient refunds are processed and sent within 90 days. We have discussed these issues with all necessary staff to ensure these delays do not happen going forward. Warm regards, [redacted] Practice Manager III
