On 2/12/18, [redacted] arrived at the job site [redacted] to do a ceiling jobCustomer provided all materials as discussed per previous site visit [redacted] insisted on being paid for 1/of the job up front as good faith because "he'd been stiffed before." [redacted] paid him $toward $bid & they wrote out a contract which we have in our possessionLadder & tools were unloaded & [redacted] left to run errands around 9:am when [redacted] & helper were to start on job [redacted] returned around noon to find [redacted] & helper goneA note was left behind saying they had to leave early (11:am) but would be back at 8:am the next day on 2/13/The empty rental property was spotless when they arrived but the living room was left a total mess [redacted] took picturesNo one showed on 2/13/as note stated (also in our possession) [redacted] called [redacted] 's phone at 11:am on 2/14/18, full days after he left job site to cash check
Hired *** *** to repair Roof, Drywall and Wire an Exhaust FanThe Roof wasn’t properly prepped or repairedThe Drywall was left unfinished and *** *** left without checking back in or finishing the JobUpon contacting him by phone, he was not willing to discuss the issues and hung up on meI searched his contractor number and found no such contractors license number
