Ordered product twice - never shipped and never provided status
I tried ordering from them twice and waited weeks and months without ever receiving the product or an update
My first order was placed on 9/for a set of switchesAfter waiting weeks, I started attempting to contact themNo emails were ever replied to and when I spoke with someone over the phone, they statedthat they were "moving warehouses" and would get back to meAfter several repeated call attempts, I continued to get the same response - the person knew my order number and would get back to meThe pending authorization charge was eventually dropped by PayPal so the product would have never been charged and shipped
I then re-placed the same order on 12/for the same items which still show on their websiteToday, when I tried to get an update, the person (I believe it was the same one that I had spoken with) gave me the same response "I'll check on your order and get back to you"When I told him that

Company refusal to give refund despite online policy
I ordered an item online from this companyI received it by post and found it was not the item I neededThe company's website directed me to email for an RA number (return authorization)I sent more than one email requesting an RA and received nothing over day period
When I spoke with a man at the company, he first denied he ever received my email requests ; he then said there would be a 25% restocking feeWhen I asked him how he arrived at that high amount, he said "because that is what I say it is"
Throughout the conversation, he was obnoxious, rude and looking for an argument
He said he would send an RA and requested I never do business with his company againWhen I assured him I would not, he then told me "Well' now I think the item is unrefundable' and hung up
This is contrary to the website policy

I placed my order on January 18, and have not received my order to dateAll attempts to contact company have gone unanswered
Order # *** for a 2411R IRLinc Insteon IR Receiver was placed on January 18, When I received the wrong product in February after multiple attempts I made contact with Carl at the company and returned the incorrect product by Canada post on February 16th and paid $postage to returnI have made many attempts to contact the company by leaving voicemails, sending emails to multiple contacts (***@smarthome-products.com, [email protected] & ***@smarthome-products.com) and sending messages thru their website contact with no response over the past three months to find out when I could expect the correct orderPayment has been taken and I cannot get any information on when I can expect my orderI would like to cancel this order and get a refund but I am unable to make contact with anyone at this company to do so
