Dear Mr*** ***,I sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding and miscommunication that has occurred over the last few yearsI sent a letter in response a year or two ago that addressed the issueI believe there are several things that are misunderstood with the products and services that our company offers, and we take full responsibility for thatWe try to be as thorough as possible, so everyone that leaves with a membership with us, leaves happy and knowledgeable of what they bought and how to use itMr*** requested to meet you in person to go over your membership with you and answer any and all questions you have, and if you still wanted a refund we could address thatThe most important to us is that you know how to use it before you make any decisionsI can assure you we do not in anyway attempt to mislead or lie to our customers or members, and we will work with you on how to use your membership and the affiliates. The number is only in regards to your affiliate campgrounds, which are for the most part $10/night (through Coast to Coast or RPI)Your home resort you call directly, because you are allowed to stay there for $0/nightOnly the resorts that are through Coast to Coast have a "mile air rule" that states you are not allowed to stay at a resort within miles of your home resortThis rule does not apply to RPI ResortsThe affiliate, Enjoy America, is the system that gives you the discounted pricing for one night only (possibly more but it is up to managers discretion)To your home resort, you are always guaranteed access, which is something that still applies. It would be my hope that we could sit down and go over things with you so you understand exactly how to use, and the differences between each affiliate. Again, I sincerely apologize for the miscommunication, misunderstanding, and any type of misleading vibe you got from our companyThat is not what we strive for or stand forAlso, I apologize that it took this long to respond. If you were to sit down with us and go over your membership with us to clear the air and miscommunication, and still wanted a refund, we can address that and take that into consideration for you Sincerely,Kohle M***

I spoke with the *** on Tuesday the 4th and we arte going to meet in my office on Saturday August 15th at 10am----they need to learn how to use the system correctly and I am taking care of some reservations for them. The original sales rep----jake R*** was not through in his
explanation. Our phone conversation went fine and I am confident that our meeting will go fine as well and that they leave happy. If I need to do anything else regarding the Revdex.com please let me know Thank you, Darrell "Chip" K***

I am responding to the complaint filed by *** and *** *** about Cascade Meadows RV Resort, #***I would like to address a few pieces specifically about their complaint, and outline for you (Revdex.com) our rules and regulations outlined in our public offering
statement that is given to every member, as well as how our Resort works, and other information relevant to this complaintAttached you will find: copy of the *** membership (the clause in question), an excerpt from their membership contract related to this matter, as well as excerpts from our Public Offering statement
In the complaint, the *** state that they paid $in so they “would never have to move from this space or rv park for the seven days buy out week.” They also stated that the “signed contract stating the buy out week will continue to be offered for the duration of this active contract upon availability of sites.” This is completely true regarding their membership contract, which we also honor to the full extent of what was written and signed (See Exhibit A)However, nowhere in the contract does it state that they are guaranteed the use of this buyout week regardless of what is going on in our resort
For our Resort to operate, we are a member of the affiliate networks, Coast-2-Coast Resorts, Resort Parks International, and Resorts of DistinctionIn order for us to sell access to these affiliate networks, we are required as a resort to keep available 10% of our RV spaces for members of the affiliate networks who would like to travel to our resort over the course of a yearThe *** stated that “the new managers say we cannot have day buyout week due to them being members with RPI… We are not members of RPI, we are only Cascade Meadows members.” However, this is a mute point, because this is how our resort operates and the agreements we entered into with those affiliate networks, regardless of whether the *** decided to join the affiliate programsThis responsibility to our affiliates impacts the total number of sites that are “available” throughout the yearAs well, we have a responsibility to all of our members to have availability for them throughout the year, regardless of whether they have a reservation, as we guarantee access to all our members for up to days at a timeDuring our busy summer season, both of these restrictions force us to have many available sites, and not able to offer our “buyout week” to those staying longer than their given timeframeIn short, when we say “based upon availability” does not mean “100% full” rather, that we know that those sites will not be used, which we cannot do during our summer season
In terms of our right as a company to implement such restrictions, please see Exhibit B, which is from the actual membership that was originally signed by the BachmansThis states that CMRVR reserves the right to establish restrictions, at our sole discretion, which may be reasonably appropriate to assure maximum availability and utility of facilities or services
Exhibit C, from our Public Offering statement, given to every new member, and filed with the state of OregonThis shows that the *** membership allows them to stay for days at a time, with days removed from the resort, then can come back for more daysIt also explicitly states that this provision is based upon anticipated usage, and longer visits may be allowed at the discretion of the Resort Manager
Exhibit D, from our Public Offering statement, states that the *** membership does not convey the right to use any specific site at our Resort, though the *** say differently
Finally, Exhibit E, from our Public Offering statement, shows our Relationship with our affiliate networks is stated to all members, as mentioned above
In conclusion, the above information and my written testimony show beyond reason that this complaint filed by the *** is completely false, and holds no legitimacyOur rules and regulations are steadfast and stated to all members, in their contracts and in our Public Offering statementsTherefore, the Revdex.com should remove this complaint from the file of Cascade Meadows RV Resort
Sincerely,
Kyle M***

Friday May 6, 2016, Kohle M***, Vice President of Sound Pacific of Oregon, called and spoke to with the ***'s. They set up a time to meet and receive their gift cards

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: If this were explained to us correctly we would never had agreed to this deal We are older individuals and do not spend a largre amount vacationing in our RV I am still working days a week and do not have the time or energy to fight for something that we were pushed into Yes the salesman did tell us about the deal as well as Chip When we told Chip we were not going to go through with this deal he personally sat us down and pressured us until we said OKay so we could get out of there It was a high pressure sales pitch and they would not take NO for an answer Nothing that was told to us was correct All we want is a full refund and not another meeting where it is high pressure Talking to Chip on the phone was another high pressure pitch where he just would not agree to refund the money but wants to meet us in person again so we are forced to accept this deal again I would welcome someone being present from Revdex.com to hear the pitch and all kinda freebe's to accept the deal We just wish we could be refunded and not go through another sales pitch We took our week vacation and could not use anything we were told we could use to get the special pricing. Sincerely,*** ***

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
At no time during the discussions and signing of our contract, were we advised of the relationship between Cascade Meadows and R.P.I, or any other affiliate, with respect to their obligation to hold a certain number of spaces open with or without reservations.
We would never have signed the contract knowing what they are alleging at this time.
Kyle M[redacted] (son of owner Mike M[redacted] owner of Cascade Meadows) was here on site at the time of our discussions regarding full time residency.
Sincerely,[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Mr. [redacted], First off, I would like to sincerely apologize for this misunderstanding.  It seems to me that my marketing employee did not fully explain all of the details to you, as well as making sure you understood exactly what was happening and you were receiving.  I have had a...

serious discussion with her regarding this, and have written up an internal notice about this issue.I would like to set the record straight with you as well.  Your name was drawn from our drawing box at the RV show that you attended.  Your name was pulled for our 2nd place prize, in which we waive the initiation fee for our "Explorer" membership package as well as the initiation fee for a "Coast-2-Coast" Membership.  The "Explorer" package is valued at $1995 and the "Coast-2-Coast" package at $1495, so you are actually receiving up to $3490 worth of free memberships because of this drawing.  All that we ask, if you would like to claim the prize, is that you pay the yearly maintenance fee, which is standard in our industry.  You also have the option of taking this value and putting it towards any of our other memberships. Our Explorer package is our starter membership, designed to give those clients who are not sure if this is the lifestyle they would like to pursue, a chance to test out private membership camping without the higher cost of a fully unlimited membership.  I again sincerely apologize that the information was not passed along to you correctly as to what type of membership you were receiving.  You should never have been told that it was an unlimited membership to our home parks.  However, since you were also getting the Coast-2-coast membership, you were receiving the unlimited version of that membership which would allow you to camp as much as possible under their current rules. We have been in business for almost 30 years, providing excellent resorts as well as service to our customers, so what happened here is not acceptable to our business.  I would like to ask you if there is anything I can personally do to amend this situation, aside from ensuring that all of our employees are retrained to understand the specifics of what we are offering. Please let me know what I can do.  I am deeply sorry that your experience with our company was not up to the standards we set for ourselves, and I want to ensure that you can walk away from this situation knowing that we will do whatever we can to leave you with a better impression of our Resort system.Thank you,Mike M[redacted]
