This is in response to complaint #*** filed on 1/10/The client did purchase a new vehicle from Stateline Nissan, however the excess mileage charge *** is billing her was from her previous vehicleThe customer did know that she would receive a bill from *** ( *** *** ***
***) regarding the milesOnce she received the bill it was told her that it would be her responsibility to contact *** and come to some sort of agreement about paymentIf no payment is made then the next actions taken by *** are to send it to collections in order to try and obtain paymentWhen the customer leases a vehicle there is always mile restrictions and it is the customer's responsibility to know what those restrictions areThis is the exact reason why she did not want to lease her next vehicle and instead financed the vehicle so that there would be no mileage restrictionsUnfortunately there is nothing that can be done on the dealers end because this is between the financial institution and the client

I am writing in response to complaint #*** which was filed by *** ***I have attached all of the documents showing how the client's figures were presented to herI also have attached a copy of her final contract which is actually less than the $she thinks she is paying which is
$We have computerized figures that are generated and no way would numbers be presented on a post it noteIf you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me at *** or via email ***

I have attached the cancellation for complaint ***The contract was cancelled on 9/13/for the full amount and would have been applied to the customer's loan. Thank you

The client did inquiry on a specific vehicle but did not read all of the details that go along with the advertised special. Nissan does provide many incentives for our vehicles and sometimes the customer does have to qualify for them and if they don't then the advertised payments would go
up. I do believe there was a misunderstanding between the client and our employee. There was certainly no malicious intent. Thank you

Unfortunately the client does not qualify for the advertised price. Again it sounds like a mistake was made according to what the customer is saying. If we could honor the advertised price without qualifying for the necessary incentives we would certainly go ahead with the transaction but unfortunately that is not the case

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***.I understand that is the position of StatelineWhat about the fact that my credit was run to ensure I was qualified for the price I was quoted? That negatively effects my credit, something that again is not being addressedThis company is a joke

The response by the company is what I expected and also completely incorrectI inquired directly about a Pathfinder, I came and test drove it, all because I had an exact conversation with an employeeTo say I did not read the details is incorrect, I was never given anything to readI was told the reason I did not qualify for the price was because I did not currently have a NissanProblem is the sales person I was going back and forth with asked if I did currently own a Nissan, I said No, and she then quoted me the priceThe price was given to me with full knowledgeI then asked to run my credit to ensure I got that price, which she did and told me I was all set, No problemFor Stateline to pass the fault on to me to say I didn't read the full details of the promotion is insulting, but what I and anyone else who were to deal with can expectThe fact that my credit was dinged and they refused to answer or respond to my many calls was never addressedI have copies of the text and email exchange to prove exactly what I am saying is what transpired.

Mr*** did come to the dealership not once but twice to try and negotiate a deal on a Nissan Frontier. There was nothing deceptive done but rather a simple misunderstanding of the numbers because so many terms were discussed and many numbers were presented. The lease programs do
change month to month and there is no way that the deal Mr*** thought he was getting could be attained. Unfortunately there is no way we can remove the inquiry that was put on his credit that he authorized. Please contact me with any further questions. Sincerely, ** *** General Manager

Below is the timeline for Mr. [redacted]'s visit with Stateline Nissan.  1st visit: 12/16/2016 - 12/20/2016Tested multiple times over the period of a few days and multiple road tests and could never once verify the heating system acting out of factory specification. Customer ended up...

picking the vehicle up on the fourth day it was in service.2nd visit: 01/23/2017 - 02/02/2016Tested multiple times over the period of ten days and multiple road tests and still could not verify the heating system acting out of factory specification. On one occasion, we found the heating system to be only coming out at about 80 degrees from the vents, but this was when vehicle was stopped at idle without being driven. We told customer to stay in the loaner vehicle and we would see if this was normal. We called Nissan tech line and they said this is normal, as vehicle must be driven for a drive cycle or so in order to get the heating system working to full capacity. We road tested to verify this and found that it was 100% within what tech line said. We also compared his vehicle to three loaner vehicles (all [redacted], to keep comparable) and his vehicle was performing exactly as those loaner vehicles were.If there's a problem on this vehicle, it never happened while it was in our service department.  We did eventually advise him to go to his selling deal
