Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response at this time because after hearing the details of the leak and options provided by the company, numerous roofing professionals have agree that the installation and leak are potentially leading to even more problems We have decided to have an independent roofing inspector look at the roof and provide advice After that, we will move forward with either having Stonebridge Roofing repair the damage by the recommended standards or move in another, recommended direction Please see a copy of the email sent to the company [redacted] - As agreed upon in our conversation about having more time to consider our options and discuss these, we are going to postpone tomorrow's appointment As we explained, based on the options provided by you, we felt we needed time to take a step back and consider everything that has been said and our concernsAfter speaking with and explaining our concerns to a certified roof inspector and other roofing experts regarding the roof leak and the way it has been addressed, we have been advised by three experts to not continue with any repairs or action from your company at this time Consequently, in order to reassure ourselves that there are not other issues with the installation, particularly since other experts have identified numerous potential red flags, we are going to obtain a 2nd and possibly 3rd unbiased opinion about the proper way to fix the current leak and make sure there are no other unidentified issues In case you're thinking that these are other roofers who are trying to make money, they are not They are certified inspectors, not roofing companies We did not make this decision lightly or out of anger or frustration As we did before even filing the complaint, we have done hours of research and have spent hours speaking with experts Our hope is that the rest of the work will be certified as appropriate, a recommendation to fix the leak correctly can be made, and we can move ahead with a decision about fixing it and keeping our warranty intact As discussed last night, we are not - in any way - interested in taking $and parting ways We did not file a complaint as a scheme for financial gain- we filed this complaint because we have very real fears about the integrity of our roof and felt those fears were not being taken seriously As a side note - after being our own general contractor to build a home and working with other contractors , from foundation to roof, siding, HVAC, drywall, plumbing, etc, - we have never even a thought of filing a Revdex.com complaint and have never had to have any of them refund money for damages or negligence I am including this information because, at times, we have felt like your perception of us is that we're just a picky, nagging customer who has nothing better to do than trying to frisk contractors down for money That is not us Our concerns have been validated by outside, unbiased professionals, and we are acting on that advice Sincerely, [redacted] Sincerely, Mark Mayer

WE HAVE REACHED OUT TO THE CUSTOMER AND WENT TO HIS HOUSE ON FRIDAYWE ARE WORKING RAPIDLY WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND OTHER 3RD PARTIES INVOLVED TO RESOLVE ISSUE QUICKLYTHE GENERAL MANAGER IS IN INVOLVED AND IS OVERSEEING THE ACTIVITIES TO INSURE THE FASTEST POSSIBLE TURN AROUND TIME MOVING
FORWARD ON THIS PROJECTWE WILL WORK RAPIDLY TO RESOLVE ISSUE

We did everything in our contract and we did it in a workmanlike wayWhile doing the roof our crews did do a small amount of damage to one piece of soffit, there were a few marks on the sidng and a small chip of wood off the back deck stairTo make the homeowner fully satisfied we cleaned any
marks off the siding and replaced the one damaged piece of soffitIn addition to this, we gave the homeowner $off his bill which was heads and shoulders above and beyond anything we needed to since we handled the marks on the siding and replaced the damaged soffit. The homeowner had a leak in his house about three days agoHe called us on a Sunday evening and told us he had lots of water coming in and that there was water on his floor, drapes and furnitureThinking there was a massive leak we called a water mitigation company to go out right away to dry out the massive amount of water coming into the structure*** at *** *** called the homeowner (*** ***) and told him he was on his way with Air Movers and Dehumidification equipmentThe homeowner refused for *** *** to come out and said that it was not that badThe next morning we inspected the "Massive leak" and found only a small stain on the ceilingWhen we got into the attic it was discovered that the leak was caused not from the roof, but from a plumbing vent pipe that had become disconnectedThere was nothing wrong with the Roofing workmanship to the roofDespite this we still did some extra work to the plumbing pipe to fully ensure any possible issue was resolvedAfter that, the homeowners demanded that we fix the plumbing issue (not related to our work) and then give them $4000.00.Even if the warranty issue was caused by our workmanship, our warranty does not cover interior damageAlso, the homeowner signed a document outlining their responsibilities on checking loose pipes after the work is completeThis was signed before any work commenced on their property by both homeownersTo our knowledge, the homeowner never got a plumber or HVAC contractor to check their pipes as lined out in the customer responsibility document they signed. Moreover, the homeowner signed a Cerfiticate of Full Satisfaction and agreed that any issues had been resolvedIn light of the Cert of Satisfaction, please remove this complaint

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response at this time because after hearing the details of the leak and options provided by the company, numerous roofing professionals have agree that the installation and leak are potentially leading to even more problems.  We have decided to have an independent roofing inspector look at the roof and provide advice.  After that, we will move forward with either having Stonebridge Roofing repair the damage by the recommended standards or move in another, recommended direction.  Please see a copy of the email sent to the company.  [redacted] -  As agreed upon in our conversation about having more time to consider our options and discuss these, we are going to postpone tomorrow's appointment.   As we explained, based on the options provided by you, we felt we needed time to take a step back and consider everything that has been said and our concerns. After speaking with and explaining our concerns to a certified roof inspector and other roofing experts regarding the roof leak and the way it has been addressed, we have been advised by three experts to not continue with any repairs or action from your company at this time.  Consequently, in order to reassure ourselves that there are not other issues with the installation, particularly since other experts have identified numerous potential red flags, we are going to obtain a 2nd and possibly 3rd unbiased opinion about the proper way to fix the current leak and make sure there are no other unidentified issues.  In case you're thinking that these are other roofers who are trying to make money, they are not.  They are certified inspectors, not roofing companies.  We did not make this decision lightly or out of anger or frustration.  As we did before even filing the complaint, we have done hours of research and have spent hours speaking with experts.  Our hope is that the rest of the work will be certified as appropriate, a recommendation to fix the leak correctly can be made, and we can move ahead with a decision about fixing it and keeping our warranty intact.   As discussed last night, we are not - in any way - interested in taking $500 and parting ways.  We did not file a complaint as a scheme for  financial gain- we filed this complaint because we have very real fears about the integrity of our roof and felt those fears were not being taken seriously.  As a side note - after being our own general contractor to build a home and working with 12 other contractors , from foundation to roof, siding, HVAC, drywall, plumbing, etc,  - we have never even a thought of filing a Revdex.com complaint and have never had to have any of them refund money for damages or negligence.    I am including this information because, at times,  we have felt like your perception of us is that we're just a picky, nagging customer who has nothing better to do than trying to frisk contractors down for money.  That is not us.  Our concerns have been validated by outside, unbiased professionals, and we are acting on that advice.  Sincerely,[redacted]
