I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted].. 
I had tried to resolve with the owner. He said that he did offer to change rooms. We said that It wouldn’t help because the entire hotel smelled of smoke including the hallways. He contacted me later to ask me if we ultimately stayed somewhere else. We did not. We stayed at in law’s home. I believe he was asking because he owns the other hotel in the area. He tried to say it wasn’t that smokey but admitted there was smoking going on in the building. Also, English doesn’t appear to be his first language so communication wasn’t the easiest. We were offered a service that was defective and something we could not use, therefore I feel that my husband and I were stolen from and someone should be held accountable. This company needs to advertise that they are smoking [redacted], therefore families don’t have to confront this issue at 10pm after traveling at night because there was a death in the family.
