I had a front door installed at the beginning of the yearShortly after, we noticed small water leak coming through glass that later became a large amount with heavy rainWe called them multiple times and finally somebody came to fix the problemShortly after this it rained again and water leaked once againThis damaged the wood floor at a cost of 25,dollarsI have called service exactly timesHave left multiple messages, have sent multiple emails, nobody has respondedI ended up emailing Ms *** from production to cancel other two doors that I had originally ordered, and she apologized for the service dept and told me somebody would call be back to resolve the issueThat was last weekI decided to contact another company for repair and insurance inspectorThey both agree the leak is due to poor installation
Our experience started well enough up frontWe had an attentive sales person that answered all our questions and was very helpfulAfter we made a front door selection, the process and timeline was explained to usIn summary we were supposed to have new doors installed in weeksIt took a couple of weeks just to get the order taken (measurements and planning)Then they took our money and we didn't hear from them for weeksAt that time we were told it would be another weeksThe only reason we even got this status was because repeated calls to the sales person were not returned and we escalated to the company directlyTheir attitude on the matter was terribleTheir customer service is severely lackingI considered cancelling the order as I thought we had been taken by an unscrupulous businessWe decided to stat the course rather than start over with another companyWhen they finally started the installation, their design was incorrect which caused them to leave the door partially installedWe are still waiting for them to finish the installation; which as of now, they have already postponedWe are at weeks and counting and still no completion date in sightI highly recommend that if you are an individual buyer then go elsewhereThis company seems to prioritize their contractor and bulk orders higher than direct consumersThis includes customer service
We have been contacting *** *** since January of this year to have door installation issues correctedBoth by email and phoneThere is a problem with one of the two door locks and a problem with the installation of the door to the existing structure
I had a railing installed by the San Marco Iron Doors CompanyThis work was requested by my Contractor, Pro Painting and StainI reported a problem with the quality of the work to the San Marcos Iron Doors Company BEFORE the year guarantee time frame expiredThe San Marcos General Manager's position was that the Third Party Contractor owed them money and they, THE San Marcos' GM, would NOT warranty the work until this matter was resolved, The General Manager had her representative call me and said that "IF I paid the amount in Dispute then, they would cover this under their warranty." The Contractor Pro Painting and Stain, advised me he owed NO money to the San Marcos Iron Doors CompanyThis Company is ONE: Does not produce quality productsSECONDLY: They are trying to hold the home owner responsible for a dispute between them and a contractor, leaving the home owner basically Out of LuckThe San Marcos Iron Door Company does NOT stand behind their productThe Third Part Contractor has agreed with me to rebuild the railing by another companyAS OF MATTER OF RECORD: The San Marcos Iron Door Company's Quality of Work is TOTALLY UNCEPTABLE
