Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: On February I brought my car to his business and told him I will be going on vacation from 23rd till the 1st he said that would be fine should be doneI was quoted a price around $because I stated anything over will not be worth the repairsI visited his shop every week after to check on price and progress he said looking for an engine for my car everytime I visited when April came and car was still not completed much less started I purchased a new vehicle and told him that since it was taking so long to acquire an engine I used the money for repairs and that he had until April 12, to finish the car for my sons 16th birthday so there is no rush anymore In late November he called stating he now had all the parts and was ready to start on my car if I brought him some moneyI told him he would have to wait until the new year for that and he was fine with thatOn February 3, I wrote him a check for $and he said that he would have car complete by the middle of the next week I said okI then came back the next week where he then started with the excuses of either waiting for parts to come in, wrong part came in or part was broken (even though he said he had all parts and was ready to start in November)On March 2015over a month since he received my money I came with a tow truck and new mechanic to remove my car were he told my mechanic that all he need was a hose and it would be in Monday and car would be doneMy mechanic said if that's all to let him have until thenMonday came and he said that the part was broken and a new one was coming I gave him the benefit of doubt part never seemed to arriveOn Monday March 23rd came for car he was not there and an employee call him he said he was picking up part now call him tonight around I did not call him and he did not call be either I went to pick up my car on Wednesday March 25th he was not there I again asked the employee to call him he said I was supposed to call him back Monday and car not done I said fine and hung up and asked his employee what was done on my car he said car has never been looked at much less worked onI then informed employee to inform his boss that he had until 10a.mThursday morning to have my car compeleted or return my moneyWhen I arrived Thursday with mechanic and tow truck Casey the owner was irate and said he told his employees to pull my car into the street and get it off his property and he was not going to give me my money back or the so called parts he had purchasedI then called the police and had my car removed while I waitedWhen police arrived they informed me that this was a civil action and there was nothing they could force him to do put will see if he would give me the property or money backCasey then said I could have an engine he brought in September and falsified a receipt for said engine for $Police officer said will need to sue him for moneyMy mechanic said engine he gave me was broken and had been in an accident took it to junk yard they said was worthless and received no money, cost me $in parts and labor to have car repaired by my new mechanicI started the process for lawsuitalso as you can see he is lying about price he paid and I had to call the company for this receipt which is not for my car this is for a blue Jetta mine is a Grey Passat Regards, [redacted]

Bad experience He's been in possession of of my vehicles for almost 3yrsOne was a tub job for a wide tire fitment on a C-The other vehicles is my Chevy Caprice that I was modifying for a procharger fitmentHe was in possession of my GTO but I have since moved that vehicle to another shopI'd elaborate more on how long I've been waiting for him to complete my projects but I figured posting a conversation my inbox between him and myself would be more effective"I came out to the shop today as I'm sure you may have heard by nowYou've had my Caprice since I bought a pro charger on the strength of you saying you can make it work and nothing materialized with thatSo we agreed on rewiring the car and dropping the motor back in because we were abandoning power adders such as turbos and PC because I want my car backYou've had my truck since I bought it late I didn't ask for anything major other than modifying the bed and suspension to accommodate my new rimsThat project has been at a standstillMy GTO has been with you since late as well and it looks like you haven't started on it eitherIf you have, I can't tellI'm stranded outside of riding my bikesI need a vehicle with tiresYou've had all of my cars and truck for long periods of time with no resultsI've trusted you and promoted you at every turnI've been straight with you when comes to business and I've never shorted you or bad mouthed you about how much time you've taken to fix my vehiclesI'm sorely disappointedIs my money no good in your shop or something? Bad experience

The Vechile was at my shop for 5-6 months with an complete estimate of 3500.00  prior to any Purchase for an engine being made waiting on the customer or have payment and approve repairs. At that time  we had...

trouble getting the correct engine that fit the customers budget. I paid for the engine from LKQ of texas on 09-17-2014 for a total of 2200.00 engine to be installed and the Core Charge.  I contacted customer for Payment on the engine Since it was order for her vechile on 2-5-15 the customer showed up with payment for the engine and Check out that put us to date. I explained to her I was 3-4 weeks behind I had not charged her storage but we would put the vechile to be in line to work on it. She had taken 5 months to pay for the engine I didnt feel like she would have the money to complete payment as the job was finished. on the Date of 3-26-15  she came to the shop to pick up her car and the engine she had paid for . She did contact the Police Department to over see this and she looked over my paper work as well as the Car.
