Beware! I contacted National ERA Servicing in hopes of renting one of they're many homesWhen I first contacted National ERA Servicing I thought they was honest and would be very helpful with trying to rent a rent to own homeI couldn't be more wrongThey have leasing agent's that lie to you about the application processI was paired with "Mr***." I was NEVER able to get in contact with him besides our first initial conversation to get the lock box code to see the propertyAfter seeing the home I was forwarded again to "Mr***." I called repeatedly and left numerous messages to never get a response from himI then contacted one of National ERA Servicing other agents and she did her best to walk me through another leasing agent application process(Each agent seems to be doing things differently, yet work for the same company?) I then asked about the qualifications to get approvalAnd was lied to repeatedlyI was told that credit was not a factor seeing that they was a company that dealt with those sort of situations(LIE) I was told they are ONLY LOOKING FOR FELONIES, BANKRUPTCY AND FORECLOSURES I was told as long as I do not have any of the above I would be fine (I DO NOT)(LIE) I was also told once I completed my application it would take up to three days to process it and get a response...you guessed it...(LIE.) I then rushed to do my application and forward my documents to this leasing agent that never answers his phone callsThinking perhaps once I spend the application fee this agent will then respondAfter finishing the application I was then contacted by MrHa**is asking me to make sure my co applicant fills out a separate applicationNo problemHe filled it out and paid and then you can kind of guess what happenedNOTHINGI waited and called for days leaving many voice mails and contacting different agents in the company which all kept trying to forward me to the agent that never answersAfter DAYS with NO return calls and days of stressingI finally get a surprise email from MrHa**is stating that they're company is unable to assist me due to credit issuesTo much credit issues? ..In my opinion National ERA Servicing is only looking to get application fees from people and not looking to really place people in homesIf you have money to just give away and like to call people that never answers they're calls I guess this is the company for youThey were no help to me and my family
I have been in my property for almost a year now. Other than minor issues with my home I have had little issues other than a small leak and some minor settling of the home flaws presenting as normal homes do. The customer service rep when going through getting the home was on the rude side but hey you can't have it all;) I knew what I wanted and she was not going to stand in my way. I originally had a bad agent when looking at the different homes but I ended up with an excellent one!
I have no complaints about this company at all! Mr. S. is very personable and professional. I stand my ground when things needs to be fixed and as long as you pay on time there is no problem.
