Review: On June 13 and 14 I rented 2 rooms (232 and 233) at the Beacon Hotel in Lewes, Delaware for my daughters wedding. Two older ladies registered me. They took about 1/2 hour and swiped my credit card several times. They stated that this is the first year that they went computerized with the registration and are not use to the system. My husband checked us out on the morning of June 15. The total cost was $367.20 per room. The lady at the desk said that there was no payment on the rooms so he gave them his credit card. When we got home that day, I checked my bank account. The Beacon took out 7 pending payments for $367.20. I immediately called them and they could not help me at the time but had to go through some kind of credit agency. The next day they took out 3 more pending payments for $367.20. They had all of my money tied up. We went to our bank and immediately opened a inquiry for investigation. We found out that these extra withdraws were being taken out of my husbands credit card.They advised my husband to cancel his credit card in which he did. Within the next week, they refunded 7 of these pending payments. They took out of my account 3 payments of $367.20 but should have only taken 2 out. I opened another inquiry and it was denied stating that the merchant was right. When I called the Beacon they said that my husband's credit card paid for a young woman's room. I know this young woman and we did not register with her, nor did we give permission for them to pay for her room with our credit card. Her mother told me that when she went to check out they would not take her money stating that her room was paid. Her mother said that she was really confused about this and attempted several times to pay them. When I asked the Beacon to refund my payment they told me that they were having trouble reaching this person and that someone has to pay for the room. She said that they will refund my credit card. That was Friday. As of today, my credit card has not been refunded.Desired Settlement: I want my money back. They owe me $367.20
