RE: Bryan J. O[redacted]
I personally repainted the lettering Thanksgiving weekend 2015 and memorial was satisfactory to purchaser's instructions. There has been a great difficulty...

contacting purchaser he does not answer his telephone nor return phone messages nor answer the door when obviously at home. Actions then and now suggest purchaser is trying to avoid payment.
Earlier purchaser had left message referring to information from alternate business saying memorial was not cut deep enough. I responded immediately (by message) informing him that his advisor was totally in error, further explained why and asked him to contact me for an in-depth discussion. No response. The monument industry has a great number of 'shallow experts' and it is not surprising he received incorrect advice.
Current response to Revdex.com is only because purchaser received notice of memorial being scheduled for repossession to hold for payment.
Purchaser has the choice of either paying the balance of $706.97 or of having the memorial repossessed, at which time he will either lose his deposit or incur further fees to have the memorial returned.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/04/25) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The repainting in Nov. of 2015 (3 years after 1st unsatisfactory repainting) was never confirmed as satisfactory or we would not be at this point in the transaction. The quality of work is unacceptable, pictures were sent to Revdex.com in Akron, & Daily Monument in Kent, would you accept that craftsmanship for loved one? Funds for payment were never an issue, poor quality of work has been. I spoke with Mr. Daily twice over the years about situation, each time work on monument was sloppy & unsatisfactory. For that reason, I contacted Revdex.com. He may of stopped by my 86 yr old mothers house, to try and pressure her.
I going to get an estimate on what it would cost to have the stone repaired - to a satisfactory condition. Resending picture to Revdex.com and Mr. Daily.
Thanks.

Consumer's rebuttal to business response reveals his actual mindset. We repainted the memorial at least three times, the last time by me personally to be sure there would be no question. Five months later he surfaces obviously and only in response to the threat of removal. Each time previously consumer was notified (reinvoiced) when painting occurred and did not respond. Consumer always 'went to ground', not answering phone calls (caller ID), not responding to voice-mail, ignoring mailed notices, etc. Also in his response he confirmed talking to me only two times in 3 1/2 years; he failed to mention each time he 'returned to ground' to prevent a response.
Consumer's complaint to Revdex.com is obviously an attempt to avoid payment. Memorial is scheduled to be removed to hold for payment per our earlier response.
