We received your letter today concerning the customer's complaintI have checked into it and would like to furnish the following:
Customer purchased the grill on October 13, and chose one of the
floor models as they stated
Around the end of October they called and informed us the grill would not heat upWe told them we would be happy to check it out if they could bring it inThey brought the grill to our shop and after checking it out it was determined that all the control knobs were stripped not allowing the valves to be turned on fullyWeber sent new knobs under warranty and we installed themAfter test firing the grill it reached the degree point they statedCustomer picked up the grill on November 1st
Customer was only charged a minimal shop time of $since labor is not covered under warranty
We have not been contacted by customer since then therefore it was assumed the grill was working correctlyThis notice from Revdex.com is a total surprise to usIf customer wishes to bring the grill back we would certainly service it for them
If the knobs are stripped out again like before, I can only assume that they are not being operated correctlyFor safe operation they have to be depressed first before turning to the desired positionI know of no other way that knobs can be stripped like the original ones wereWe have sold Weber and other grills for over years and have had excellent success with all of them
