and as soon as I confirmed pregnancy and started receiving deposits I would send him his money He was offered his deposit backNow he needs to wait since he backed outI turned down buyers and did not take a deposit because I was holding a puppy for himIt is only fair for him to wait for me to Re-sell a male pup he backed out of an agreement and wants his earnest money back

I am disappointed the purchaser did not explain clearly what happened. It is unfortunate, and quite unusual. In ten years of showing and breeding quality hunting dogs this is the first time I have had someone drop out of a commitment. It was his choice to wait for a second breeding in August, which is due shortly. I must take some responsibility in this, however. When putting down a non-refundable deposit, I should have had him sign an agreement. The purchase contract is done AFTER the puppy is born, and usually there are emails outlining the reason for a deposit. I won't make this mistake again.Now after receiving deposits from additional male puppy buyers, I have mailed Mr *** a check for a full refund. It was put in today's mail. I had intended to do this anyway, and asked for his patience when responding to him in July. He notified me June 28th that he did not want a pup, and it took me a bit to get a buyer, and receive money for a refund
