Tell us why here...We have spoken to Dusty S*** the Main Store Manager whom actually gave us a heads up to this issue shortly after it occurred Saturday. This customer's order was originally called in and scheduled through our Noblesville store and credit card information taken over the
phone. As part of our standard process order details are read back to the customer including product ordered and order amount. Unfortunately when the time of delivery arrived and we attempted to run his credit card, the card was declined which prompted a call to the customer for payment prior to shipment. The customer came into the Main store to pay for the order in cash. Because it was scheduled to come out of the Noblesville store, the order had to be rewritten at the Main store so the cash could be properly received there. During that process the product ordered was again confirmed with the customer and the customer left with a printed receipt with the purchased product clearly identified. During the conversation Dusty had with the gentleman Saturday he pleaded his case, but we made our position clear that the #stone is what we heard you order and what was confirmed as ordered during the sales process. It was explained to him that we felt we did our due diligence in attempting to ensure order accuracy. We certainly understand the frustration, but are uncertain of what more we could have done to be certain that what the customer ordered was in fact what he really needed. We offered to ship him the correct material, but that we would have to charge him for the additional product and that we have no effective way to retrieve already dumped bulk product as we do not have mobile heavy equipment that can be taken off site, nor manpower to manually remove the product. This is indeed a very unfortunate set of circumstances, but we feel we sold and delivered the product the customer asked for and confirmed in person
