Regards,

This is my response to *** *** at Tire Pro of LagrangeThank you for your attention to this matterYou are incorrect however that I gave the impression to *** that I was happy with my experienceI clearly stated to him that this would be my last patronage to his storeI did agree to pay the amount

Quality of work: Fine
Price: Decent (with coupon, see their website)

My bad experience: Had my front and rear brakes changed. Was quoted a price of $320. Got a message that it was ready for pickup and the price was $294 because he "got the parts for cheaper" I thought this was great because I had a $25 coupon for brake work. Turns out on the invoice he just applied the $25 discount. I saw no proof he actually got the parts for cheaper even though he claims they were $10 less for each set of brakes.

Did the math with invoice's cost of parts, labor and tax with no coupon ended up being the original price I was quoted.

Be wary of what they tell you.

Mrs. [redacted],                        My name is [redacted] and I am the Office Manager for Tire Pro, Inc.  I received your complaint this morning and I am...

sorry that you feel that you did not have a good experience at our store.  I immediately called [redacted] and [redacted] to discuss the events that occurred during your visit.  I also obtained a copy of your invoice, which has a date and time stamp of when your invoice was created (when you came into the store) and when you left (when you paid for your purchase).  You came into at our store at 1:54pm on November 1 and left at 3:55 pm, which is a 2 hour visit, not 4 hours as you have stated in your complaint.              There was no work performed on your vehicle without your consent first.  The technician looked at your CV joint as you requested, and found the issue.  It is standard practice for us to make sure that we can find the part and it is available to us before we give a quote.  I know that it would make customers very angry if we told them what their problem was and how much it would cost to repair it, but we weren't able to get the part or do the work.  When [redacted] came out and spoke to you, you had already approved the work and agreed to the price.  You were not charged any additional labor costs because the work took longer than expected.  You were only charged the original price that you were quoted.
I am truly sorry if you felt that [redacted] was rude or pushy (I have known [redacted] for over 20 years and he is very direct in the way he speaks) and I spoke with him this morning about his interaction with you yesterday.  [redacted]'s suggestion for you to walk to the square was a kind request, trying to suggest something for you to do to pass the time.  I'm sorry if you felt as is you were "coerced and bullied" into your purchase. When [redacted] first gave you the quote, you went outside into the parking lot and called someone to discuss the work.  After you hung up, you reentered the store and authorized the work.  It is never a good feeling for a person to feel as though they has been taken advantage of.  We have made it a point to treat all of our customers with kindness and respect, no matter their gender.
I also spoke with [redacted] about his interaction with you yesterday.  He stated that you were friendly and smiling. He said that you even requested 'for him to apologize to [redacted] for losing your temper with him'.  It came as a shock to him that you were not satisfied with your visit as you made no mention of it to him while you were there.  [redacted] said that he apologized to you for the work taking longer than expected and he explained why it was taking so long.  You later responded at the counter when you were leaving that 'my husband could have done it, but it would have taken him all day'.  Your joking mannerisms with [redacted] led him to believe that there was no issue and you were enjoying your visit.  He even said that you were joking and laughing when you left.
You have stated that you want "a guarantee in writing of warranty on parts and labor for 90+ days".  I will happily supply this and mail it out to you today with my signature on it.  As for a refund, you agreed to the price on the parts and labor before any work was done on your vehicle and that was what you were charged. I am sorry that you are not satisfied with your visit and I hope you are able to find an auto repair shop that better suits your needs in the future.

Have a great day,

[redacted]- Office Manager
Tire Pro, Inc.
