This is the WORST Company ever!!!! I waited Weeks for a replacement phone & SIM Card to workI received SIM cards that did not work! Every person you speak with lies & tells you something differentI called when I moved to a new address & gave them the information received a new SIM card (the 1st one) at my new addressThan my cell phone broke & they sent it to MIAMII don't live there nor have ever visited thereThey said they didn't have my new addressWell, How did they send my 1st SIM card to me at my new address than.?!!! They don't do their jobYou have to call the Philippines to speak to someone that transfer's you to someone else than someone else & NO ONE speaks English! Why?? I'm telling you TRACFONE is the Worst Cell Company Do Not go with them!!! They are horrible!!!!

Getting more and more upset with Tracfone every time I have to deal with themUpgraded my mothers phone and lost half the minutes she had paid forThe only way I can get minutes on my phone is to call and take forever inputting numbers, go on line, or submit at least or times on the phoneIts a tossup if you get minutes or notAnd now the automatic double minutes are no longer automatic and once you miss the doubling of minutes you are told there is nothing you can doI feel like they have my money so there is no customer service provided

My phone keeps freezing up & still under warranty & all they will do is have me send it back at my cost & then will send me a new oneThey want me to go without a phone while all this happens or as operator told me go buy cheap phone to use till I get my new one.I would like to see them go without phones for a week or But then again it maybe a good thing for them so no one can call them with a complaint

I have been a Page Plus customer for several years now and I have enjoyed the quality of service and customer support up until nowSince their customer service has gone overseas I have had a couple of instances where it took several hours to solve a pretty simple problemThe first issue was with my dataI had no data left on my account within day of renewing my planI use wifi 99.99% of the time so I knew this was incorrectI called in to get someone to look at it and found a new menu of odd button pressing and waitingafter 15-minutes I find myself talking with someone who is definitely not in the US and does not have a well rounded knowledge of the English languageI used to speak with folks from up in Ohio when I called in but this was quite an unwelcome change from thatI spent almost hrs trying to get the data put back on my phoneThe first round consisted of me telling the individual in customer service that I had just renewed my plan but I was showing dataThey basically regurgitated what I was saying as an answerI told them there was no way I could have used that much data that quickly yet they told me I had?? I asked to speak to a supervisorSupervisor tells me the problem will be fixed and that there was a mistake in the systemHang up and guess what.....NO DATA!! Call back in, another hour later, Sorry this will be taken care of nowCheck my account online, nothing, check my phone, no dataCall back in again! Took me almost hrs to talk with someone who looked into the matter a little further than the first page of my accountThey took care of the data issue and reset my account to new
I hate to say this but they should have never ever sent customer service overseasI hope that with the Election coming up companies like Tracfone/pageplus are seriously fined for outsourcing jobs overseasKeep jobs in the USA and keep your customers happyIts a prepaid service I know but if they just want drug dealers, hookers, and pathetic all round individuals to be their main consumer base then they need to be re-labeled "Cracfone"I hate the big as much as anybody else but I might just consider paying almost double to go with a reputable customer service positive company

I found trac phone to be the worst cell phone company I have ever hadOnly dealt with them a little over a year and constantly, calling customer service for issues ranging from disputes over minutes purchased to problems with inoperable phone apps Language barrier was extremely frustratingReps were unknowledgeable, rude and no help Reluctant to refer you to a supervisor and the few times I was able to speak to one was a waste of timeThis company should not be allowed to operate in such a manner

Hi ***, my name is Stanley and I'm a new Tracfone customer Yesterday 11/06/16, I tried activating a phone I bought online which was preloaded with minutes for year While attempting to activate this phone, I mistakenly bought a minutes airtime and an additional yearly subscription plan because I was being prompted by the site to pay for this otherwise the phone wouldn't be activated Though I thought It was strange paying for a service that's already been paid for but I followed through anyway since it was my first time activating a phone with preloaded minutes Afterwards, I visited the webpage of the seller to complain about having to make additional payments for a phone that's supposed to be preloaded with minutes and an annual plan The seller informed me that I wasn't supposed to pay for anything else and I should call for a refund I also had two other phones I bought with preloaded minutes and a year plan and I decided to activate them both but this time without making additional payments and it worked While it worked, it did take a while and I kept getting the error message that my phone wasn't activatedThis is shady practice, why would any company try to bill their customers twice for the same service? And to think this is a company patronized by senior citizens who just need a phone for occasional calls and texts - very disappointed
To make matters worse, the customer care personnel seems to be misinformed and blatantly rude When I called and explained the situation, the first lady who picked up the call said there was nothing she could do but eventually consulted with her supervisor who instructed her to forward my call to the refunds department I spoke with some *** *** guy who was rude and sounded like he was being forced to work there He told me I'm only entitled to a $refund meanwhile I had paid about $yesterday To my amazement, he blamed me for purchasing the minutes airtime and not the additional 1yr plan I informed him that it was a mistake and the website is very misleading, its designed in tricking unsuspecting customers to buying airtime and subscription plans they didn't need as though their phones wouldn't be activated Even at that, there's something called buyer's remorse! I paid for something and called within 24hrs to correct the issue, I shouldn't be blamed! At this point, I asked for his supervisor, first he said he is the manager then later said I should hold for his supervisorI was kept on hold for over 30minutes, seeing that I wasn't going to hang up some guy (sounds like the same person) picked up and simply said I will get a full refund but my phone will be blocked and the minutes will be wiped out He never introduced himself, nor acknowledged my complaint; he showed no iota of professionalism and wanted to talk to a customer in such a demeaning way out of spite I asked for his name and he told me it is *** Young and he's the supervisor I fervently cautioned him not to block my phone nor erase the minutes I have already paid for and doing so would definitely invoke a response from me He stoically replied "no! No! No! I will block your phone and erase your minutes" then eventually hung up on me
I'm still shocked beyond words that any company in this day and age still harbors staff members who are both arrogant and very rude to customers It's appalling to think that the phone Company I've decided to use for my small business company has zero customer service nor appreciation Kindly note that if my phone is not reinstated and a full refund is not issued, I will need to be compensated for the value of the phone and I would terminate my other lines and request a refund as wellI will repost this review on social media, blogs and other review sites if the issue is not rectified

A few months ago, the Tracfone website was offering a white refurb LG840GIt was supposed to have triple minutes for life, just like the black non-refurb LG840GHowever, everybody I know who has the white phone is never getting triple minutesIt has been a huge hassle for them, and now I am having the same hassleThe Chat lady assured me that my phone is triple minuteBut when I added a min one year card, the minutes stayed singleI did another Chat, and the guy said that my phone was single minute and then he proceeded to hang up on meThe sad part is that I immediately received a pfor a customer satisfaction surveyWhat a jokeAnyway, I don't seem to be receiving a response to my email inquiry regarding the missing minutesI wish that Tracfone would code my phone properly so that this confusion would clear up

Having been with Tracfone for a number of years I have always had difficulty buying air time(not to mention the countless times the robotic phone operator sent me on a wild goose chase)I do not live in the U.Sfull time so when it is time to renew I sometimes cannot get back to the states in timeI have tried to continue my service via online or credit card but with me not having a U.Scredit card I am deniedThis time I could not get back to reactivate my phoneI had a one day grace period left to do it inI called tracfone explaining my situation as well as telling the supervisor I could get back to the states within daysThe three extra days was not an option for TracfoneThey told me to call an American friend and get them to buy me airtime or use their credit card to get me airtimeI was quite surprised that they would ask to do this in light of all the credit card scams going onThis was not an option for me and told them as such there by forcing me to switch phone companies which is what I am going to doAll I can say is Inernational customers beware of what you buy and do your homework before buying

They are the most dysfunctional company on the planet I bought a Tracfone from their website When it arrived I called to activate it with my prior number They were unable to change the new phone to the prior number They said they will send me a SIM card I received a new phone instead I called to let them know and they said they still had to send me another SIM card I got the new SIM card and they still were not able to give me back my prior phone number They said the agent activated the new SIM card to a new number I spent 1/hrson the previous call Now on my second call it has been another 1/and transferred 3x and received new case # They wanted to send me another SIM card and I said no straighten it out today So I've been on hold for minutes I hate this co

Today I tried to use my android tracfone only to find out that my voice minutes and my data MB were wiped out The only thing remaining were my text messages I called tracfone customer service and spoke to two very rude representatives, one called themselves a supervisor and one a manager Both said that the other department deactivated my phone and they could not return my minutes My phone has never been deactivated nor have I used over minutes of voice or over 7000MB of data in days time I asked to be sent to executive resolutions and there a representative went over data on his end He could see that I have had a tracfone for over years and I have upgraded my phone several times, transferring my units and phone number He said that he could see that I clearly could not have used that many minutes nor data in the day span After being on the phone for over two hours I was able to retrieve voice minutes and 7000MB of data, however I hade close to voice minutes and close to 7720MB of data Since the last time I checked my balances was days ago he was unable to give me all my minutes and data back I am happy that I did receive most of my minutes back, but there is no reason that my minutes and data should have gone missing in the first place I use this phone for emergencies and texting, voice is almost never used as I have a hearing problem Data is almost never used as I use the wifi feature In fact, my data is always turned off until I want to use it or need to use it Lesson learned, check the balances on a daily basis I realize that over minutes is unusual for most people, but since I started with tracfone I have purchased more minutes than I have used I chose tracfone for the convenience and the rollover of minutes Never did I dream that they'd take away time I paid for year after year with absolutely no explanation I have seven family members using tracfone for their cellular service, four of them use the phone as I do, a minimum of calls and some texting Should I worry that they will lose their minutes? Perhaps the fact that they do not have a smart phone will protect them from this Or does Trafone just automatically take minutes away from those who carry a high balance? Up until this point I have been fairly happy with Tracfone The transfer to android did not go as smoothly as I had hoped, but those issues were resolved As the years pass the customer service has degraded to the point of today, with the two rude representatives I spoke with Tracfone, wake up! This is not how you treat customers if you'd like to keep them as customers I have always paid for my minutes, using bonus codes when offered (until I got the android) and I see no reason to take my minutes away without any explanation at all What if I had been in an emergency situation and needed to make a call? This is the main usage for my tracfone when I leave my home, I am a disabled adult that relies on the assistance of others when I need it I don't know what I would do if I was unable to call for help if I got a flat tire or fell ill behind the wheel all because the minutes I purchase each and every year for my phone disappeared Again, I will be checking my balances on a daily basis and keeping an even more detailed record of my minutes as I use them This should not be necessary to do, but I want to be prepared if this issue occurs again, and from the complaints I am reading from others, its more of when it happens than if it happens

I purchased a phone and within months of paying for this phone the phone wouldn't work anymore/called customer service and they told me the phone was no good/had to send the phone back/out of a phone for over a week/they sent me back a refurbished phone on a Friday /called customer service to reactivate and worked fine Friday night/then Saturday went to make a call and the phone kept telling me it had been deactivated/now again I'm without a phone/don't waste your money with these folks

My father wanted to upgrade his Tracfone, so I bought him one for a Christmas gift When I tried to activate the phone, it took several hours just to transfer his current number and minutesWhen his new phone finally got activated his minutes did not transfer He had minutes on his phone I ended up calling Tracfone to get his minutes transferred over and after attempts at calling the company I finally got thru and then after minutes and dropped calls my problem was never solved I called back a 5th time and got a different rep who told me that I could not transfer minutes to a smartphone Oh NO....I tore into that rep, according to Tracfone's website minutes can be transferredThat should be a given no matter what the phone is After minutes of frustration and angry the rep was finally able to transfer my minutes to the new phone So, I finally get the new phone activated with the current, correct number and correct minutes, and when I give my father his new phone he gets absolutely no cellular service...NOTHING!! He can't make calls, receive calls, text messages nothing So, now I have to call Tracfon AGAIN so that we can get reception so that he can use his new upgraded phone After 1/of being on the phone with a representative my problem was not solved and she gave me no answers to even what the problem was caused fromI am then transferred to a supervisor and have to repeat my entire situation and after more minutes of being on the phone with her I am told that my father's "carrier" has been switched from AT&T to Verizon and there are no Verizon cell towers in his area and his phone will not work What??? That is ridiculous, a customer should be able to upgrade there phone without having to go thru all these loops Customers should be able to upgrade to new phones and be able to keep their phone number, keep their minutes and keep their carrier If you don't want customers upgrading their phones then don't sell new products (advertising) Things shouldn't have to change I go thru Cellcom with my phone and I never have this problem when I upgrade phones Needless to say I was not happy one bit, and told the supervisor she had two options she will get my fathers new phone activated properly, with his current phone number, correct number of minutes, and with a carrier were he will be able to use his phone no matter his location or she will transfer everything back to his old phone...number, minutes and carrier She didn't make a decision just kept playing games I said you know what transfer everything back to his old flip phone She told me I would have to get a new SIM card before the could reactive the old phone, because a SIM card in only good for one activation again that is *** I have reactivated my old phones for other people and have never had a problemSo, Tracfone is sending me a new SIM card which will take up to business days and then I have to call them back AGAIN for the 6th or 7th time to get things straighten out Plus, my father has to go without a phone in the mean timeHow on earth is he to go without a phone, how is he to communicate in the mean time The supervisor told me there was nothing she could do and we would just have to wait until we received the SIM card and then they could help us....YEAH RIGHT!!! not going to hold my breath on that promise, but they will get another phone call from me once my father receives his new SIM card and we will try again One way or another I WILL GET WHAT I WANT!!!
And then, my father will use up all his minutes and will be dropping Tracfone as his cellular provider and will be joining my step-mothers plan Tracfone is a horrible company, horrible customer service, advertisements, and they don't care about their customers They take their customers money, time, and value with no remorse what so ever I WOULD NOT recommend Tracfone to anyone And if I don't get my issue resolved I will be filing a formal complaint with the Revdex.com and will look into a small claims court case

If you need a cell for a very short time and never have to call customer service, you MIGHT be okay, but if you have to call them for ANYTHING other than activating, you will see that they don't have anyone but Indian people who may speak enough English to activate the phone, but don't comprehend enough to solve any issues! I have lost over a minutes I had saved up (and paid for! ), because no one could understand how to extend the service date even when the payment was deducted from my checking account every month! So when the date expired, they turned off service, even when it was paid! Now they want me to start all over! I asked several times to speak to a supervisor and was hung up on twice! Never got to speak with one! I have spent hours on the phone trying to make them understand what the problem is, and am so frustrated that I am closing mine and my Mothers account! Don't waste your time and money with this company that obviously doesn't want customer retention, and doesn't seem to have any Americans working in the call centers!

I purchased a Tracphone days ago and called up to connect They said I had a bad SIMCARD and they would send me another one within days (they did not send it) I went back to store, returned it and got another one of the same type This is because I was FORCED to buy the same phone because their prepaid cards are not refundable ($100.00)! I had no choice to buy the card because I couldn't find out I had defective product until I activated it
Well the 2nd one had the same problem The store says that I can't return it for cash back because it's their "policy" Also, the customer service lied when they said they would send another SIMCARD You cannot talk to a manager...they will direct you to Customer Service
STAY AWAY FROM ALL TRACPHONES!

If you want cheap service and easy phones, they are greatHowever, don't ever have a problem Multiple times I've contact customer service for related issues and they are rude, blatantly ignore you, and refuse to help So basically, either you accept the cheap service and get what you pay for, or move on

This was the worst experience in my lifeAlmost landed me in the hospital from stress and elevating my blood pressureLost my phone service for days, on the phone for over hours total and also a phone tech from a well known store for 1/hours on the phone to try to get my phone activated and still have not achieved that task
Phone tech from a leading store has not even experienced this type of service in her years in the businessI sent the phone back and went back to my carrier
