DO NOT USE!! This has to be the WORST company I have ever used!! I spent a lot of money on a grill and what I got was garbageThey messed up and forgot to put my stone on then just slapped it on and it looks terribleIf this is the great quality they talk about I don't know how they are in businessAfter calling and calling and NO ONE returning my callsI think they forgot that I was the customerThe manager Jimmy told me that he was to busy to get back to me and that I should thank him because he got the stone onWhat great customer serviceAfter having to pay for a door that the sales person said I was getting, they installed it and it's totally crooked! Again, terrible quality!! Stay far away from this company!! I have never seen such poor customer service and quality of workSo unless you want something poorly made and slapped together and the WORST customer service imaginableDo not use this company!!

Well satisfied with the grillsBought my first grill in AZ liked so well purchased two more and had them shipped to SDThe sear burner is great to seal the flavor in on steaks

I had a pit fire table ordered and delivered When I opened the door where the propane tank is placedThe hinge was already broken The door handle only had one screw, and one of the screws was missing from the door frame

Kokomo Grills had the best customer service I've experienced in quite some timeNot only is our outdoor kitchen awesome and very functional, they communicated great throughout the process and delivered as promised

OBJECTIVE REVIEW of the product and customer service provided by Kokomo Grills / Backyard AccentsI was introduced to the company at the Phoenix Lawn & Garden show Was the product delivered as per the contractual design, free of defects, and fully functional? NOThe grill was missing puck lightsThe burner knobs became very hot and caused skin irritationThe grill hood bent downward, eventually preventing the hood from fully openingThe regulator was broken, so propane was leakingThe tiles were not epoxiedThe propane gas doors were installed grossly out of squareThe electrical work is not to codeThe company is not R.O.Ccertified Was the delivery on time? NOThis is not an opinionThey just didn’t show up on time Was customer service friendly and/or helpful? NOAaron Watts, the president, would not accept or return any phone calls or emailsJimmy Lucas, the Vice President, did return my callsHe raised his voice and accused me of threatening him because I was requesting a working productHe escalated the situation and stated, “You overheated the grill.” This was a comical statementThe vice president of a BBQ Island company telling his customer he overheated the grillJust to be clear, the hazardous burner knobs and grill hood dysfunction were reproduced in the presence of Kokomo Grill / Backyard Accent employees upon delivery, on camera at approximately degrees Fahrenheit Did Kokomo Grills eventually respond to your phone calls or emails? Did they honor their warranty? NOUnfortunately I had to file a formal disputeKokomo Grills / Backyard Accents failed to respond to reasonable requests to resolve the issue Would I recommend Kokomo Grills /Backyard Accents to my friends and family? NOI would not recommend this company to my friends or family, but, it’s not because the product was defectiveThings happen in life and sometimes products are defectiveEven Apple has a computer or phone that malfunctions from time to timeThe difference is good companies honor their warranty, treat their customers with respect, and take accountabilityShould you decide to purchase a product from this company I hope you have a better experience than I did Do you have photos, videos, emails, and documents to support your statements above? After a purchase of over $8000.00 dollars for a KOKOMO Grill on July 14th form backyardaccents. The salesperson stated everything we see comes with the ISLAND EXCEPT TWO LIGHTS hanging. . On August 28 the Island was delivered n set up , there was no ROTISSERIE WITH THE GRILL and there was TWO pieces damaged n had to be replaced , then I get the runaround form Travis about we don’t stock those items they had to be purchased from another company after another call he said Oh there not in I will call n find out when they will be here after another call it was 6 (six) days before it was delivered n installed except for one piece they forgot n now it will take another 5(five) days to get that piece delivered n installed. After talking with their so called Customer Service SHE SAID IF ITS NOT ON THE ORDER THEN YOU DONT GET IT, even though it was shown on the grill at the demonstration. Best advice is beware of what the salesperson tell you , make them put every little thing down in writing , make sure you get what you think your paying for especially from this company   This is without a doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with , they do very sloppy work ,they show their products ,you buy them then when it’s delivered it’s not what you expected. I purchased a grill island which showed lights on both sides ,beautiful grill with rotisserie,fan ,refrigerator with power to operate everything. To my Suprise I was told after delivery ,no rotisserie no power to refrigerator or upper lights that’s my problem. Customer beware of this business

I made a purchase at a home showThey make you sign a contract on the spotYou have days to cancel the contractAfter days, they feel like they have you and will not listen to any issueTheir response is either you are in a contract or that is not in the contractThey don't even ask what the problem is, they will not listen They sent a document to be signed stating their delivery policiesThat was not in the contractI was told at the show, you do not need gas hookup to run the BBQThe delivery policy document they want signed states gas needs to be hooked up before deliveryI called and said there is no gas at the property and I was mislead at show to get me to signI said with that information, I want my money backThe person transfers me to a Rhonda lady because that is the person gives back the moneyRhonda says I am not getting my money back and she doesn't even know what the problem isAfter going back and forth, she says that is not the caseI do not need g

We have really been enjoying our grillWe used the same night it was installed However we do have a few issuesWe would recommend that in the future you send someone to the customer’s house to look at the set up and the ability to do the deliveryWe wanted the cover (canopy) to protect the bar from rainThe installers did not position the cover so there is a gap between the eve on our house and the coverWhen it rained this week the bar was quite wetThe cover had also been sent with the gutters on the wrong side so a trip back to the shop was needed During most of the install there was continuous complaining about how long it was takingIf our installation requirements had been reviewed prior to the installation a lot of these issues would not have been a concern(Including the piece of painted over tape that is visible under the cover because of no foresight as to how it should have been positioned to keep the rain off of the bar.) For the amount of money we paid we certainly did expect a more professional installation without the need for my constant active supervision Great product less than professional installation

Just got my Mini Aspen burner Kokomo barbecue island this past weekend Looks great, and the delivery person, David and his crew were professional and set it up There was one chip at the bottom size of a quarter and he had the stucco material to patch it! Matched it perfect and can't tell it was chipped One disappointment was that throughout the ordering process, I told them I wanted the charcoal set up The saleslady Dee Dee at the California State Fair even wrote it down on the order page, 'charcoal set up'Subsequent phone calls to the customer service and delivery personnel, also informed them I wanted the unit to be set up for charcoal, cause I don't like gas grills I only bought the set up cause I liked the island design and the sales lady assured me the unit could be converted to charcoal only after taking out the inserts What happened? They did not include the charcoal tray set up! Couldn't blame David the delivery person He told me to call the office first thing Monday morning so I did and they apologized for the error and promise to send one charcoal tray out today Other than this one hiccup, the unit looks great! I haven't used it yet since I'm still waiting for the charcoal tray which I hope to get this week

This company was great at building my barbecue to my specifications and delivering on timeHowever, months later the tiles began falling offI called them and they said that they would have someone come out to repair itAfter additional phone calls, they said that they would come out to repair it for a service fee of $I asked why they didn't guarantee their work and they replied that due to the elements they couldn't make any guarantees for their workI contacted a building contractor who assessed the damage who told me that they had not applied the tiles correctly before the tile set had begun to dryTherefore, due to the lack of adhesion, the tiles were falling off, having NOTHING to do with the elementsThe contractor also told me that I could have it repaired easily for much less than $and that the company was not practicing due diligence for their workmanship

Local company is a manufacturer of outdoor products The item we purchased, from a home & garden show, does not stand up to the AZ heatTile adhesive (thinset) and grout crack and split causing the tile to fall offThis BBQ island is less than year old, delivered 08/27/ Company denies any warranty or liability Price quoted for repairs are unreasonable to the extreme

I just had my KoKoMo grill island installed and delivered to my backyard after having seen them at the Las Vegas home showAlan was extremely helpful with suggestions on how to accommodate our backyard It arrived and fit perfectly Thank you for a beautiful grill and workstationWe love it!!

A little over a year ago, we put a down payment for an islandless than 48hours after, before their "grace period" we tried several times to contact them and left voice mails to cancel the order because we did not want the product any longerAlthough it was nonrefundable after the grace period, we tried everything we could to contact them before thatWe have proof of calls and everything necessaryThey didnt contact us until way later to then tell us that the grace period is over and theres nothing we can do about itTheir lack of effort to communicate shouldnt be our The company had poor mannerism and customer service skills, basically telling us so sad too badThey have been very difficult to communicate with and have pocketed our very large down payment with no effort to communicate or make things workWe dont want the product, hence why we tried so hard to cancel it during the grace period, we simply just want the money they have been holding on toThis company needs to le
