There are two sides to this business, the showroom with nice vintage or newer estate or downsizing furniture and other items for sale and the online auction siteI have purchased many nice vintage and collectible items from their online auctions and happy 95% of the timeThe only time I was not happy was when a third party was using their online bidding platform in and I won a pair of speakers that were water damaged and coming apart at the bottom that I discovered upon pickupThat person conveniently did not show that in the pictures or disclose that factThat being said however, you can always inspect the items from the online auctions in person which I have done a few times since that happened to meI believe the owners name is Nancy who very nice and honest as are everyone who works there and easy to deal with

I purchased an item via auction and upon picking it up it did not meet my expectationsIt was not in the good condition it was descried and also did not appear to be the material that was described onlineBe advised you have to pay for these items in advance (it's an auction---I get it) but you also have to sign for the item at the store before seeing itI asked if I could use the $I had already paid for the item and transfer it to a store credit; the first person I asked stated he would need to check on that---so it obviously it wasn't an automatic "no" and it did not appear to be a store policyThen an older female employee came over and condescendingly stated I could not transfer it to a store credit and overall she had a haughtiness about herIf it is their policy---ok, but clearly that was not communicated to all employees and while it may have been on the auction site, I do not recall reading that specific policy when biddingThe patronizing attitude of the female employee really turned me offTo make things more interesting, I posted a facebook review simply saying I had a poor customer service experienceThey responded to my review saying, "This appears to be a fake facebook user profile." Because I gave them a poor review, it MUST mean I'm a fake account!?!?! Again, their attitude of superiority and poor customer service shines through! To any of you who may shop there---I suggest you go to the store to view the online items before bidding, so you can ensure you are bidding on something you actually wantIn the end, I left without my item (had no need for it in the condition it was in) and am out $Considering I was looking at purchasing a $bedroom set prior to my interaction with the female employee, I find it laughable that they refused to give me a $creditThey did have some nice items in their shop----but the pretentious nature of just the one employee will result in me never returningI'll make sure I tell my friends to do the same
