We are unable to respond to this complaint, Our company employees do not use "employee id's", In addition our employees must safe guard customer information, without knowing who this person is in relation to the call, leaves us ill equipped to respond to this complaint, The compliant may call back and dial Ext to speak with me personally, Once we can establish who the customer is and the purpose of the call, we will be able to assist, The name of our company is really all that is needed to complete the transaction

Good Morning, Below is the response to the complaint our office received on Friday May, 4, 2018:This vehicle was repossessed by our office on March 21, The complainant retrieved her personal items from her vehicle on April 2, 2018, at that the time of release the complainant signed a property release acknowledging all her personal effects had been received and released our office from further scrutiny of her personal effects, I have included a copy of the itemized property she signed for at that time On April 16, 2018, the vehicle was released to the auto auction to saleOn May 4, 2018, we received a call from the complainant, she stated she never looked in the bag until that day and noticed her car seats were not in the bag, Our Asst Lot Manager, Victor informed her we released everything we were able to remove to her at the time she retrieved her items back in April, the complainant was belligerent and would not allow Victor to speakThe answer to the question the complainant posed of "why didn't anyone contact me or let me know the day I arrived to pick up my items", Automobile Recovery Bureau takes all effiorts to ensure all personal effects are properly removed, inventoried, and stored on all vehicles repossessed by our office, we hold the property for daysIn transparency to the customer, at the time of the property release, we allow them the opportunity to look at the inventory log listed and to provide questions if something is not listed, in this case the car seat coversThe car seat covers were not listed on our inventory, that was the time to question missing items, and that question would have been addressed at that time prior to the customer signing the release confirming she received all of her personal belongingsWe cannot reimburse for this claim

This unit was repossessed by our office on 8/10/without incident at an address here in Houston, the vehicle was delivered to our facility all property was removed and photos taken of the unit, a full condition report was completed on this unit no damage was reported to the center console area,
our photos also did not reflect any damage, this unit was delivered to a dealership in Houston on 8/25/with no damage reported to the console area. The claim was denied as it is our opinion the damage to the vehicle occurred at the lot it was delivered to.Thank you

This will not be resolved with these emails, Automobile Recovery Bureau request a mediation hearing to resolve this complaint

Yes you may offer the full reimbursement being that The Auto Bureau did not make any effort to inform me about the "difficulty" of my personal items not being removed instead you give away my belongings knowingly and intentionallyThis is a theftConstantly blaming me on the situation that you knew about is not solving the issueIts poor managrment. [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]

Automobile Recovery Bureau, has explained, you had the responsibility to make any claim at the time you signed acknowledging you had all your personal effectsIn the event something was missing, damaged, etc, any claim would have been immediately addressed. As a gesture of courtesy to you we extended a 50% offer to meet you halfway with this claim, which you declinedThere is nothing further we can offer you with this claim

The customer's vehicle is in our possession because it was secured on behalf of her lenderThe vehicle was secured this morning at 5:a.m, there are a variety of requirements needed prior to the vehicle being released back to the customer that must be completed by us to satisfy her lender, this
process normally takes 5-hours to complete those taskWe will schedule her an appointment to retrieve her vehicle tomorrow morning

Vehicle was repossessed at 5:30 am this morning, per her lender requirements we must submit multiple documents to them which requires we have the collateral here to complete those task which normally take 5-6 hours, we will set her an appointment later today for tomorrow morning.

The car seat covers were not listed on our inventory, that was the time to question missing items, and that question would have been addressed at that time prior to the customer signing the release confirming she received all of her personal belongings. We cannot reimburse for this claim.
