I am a realtor and a first time home buyer and I highly recommend David and his team at Tristar MortgageI always recommend him to my clients and now I know firsthand how great he is with hisHe was there for me through every step of the process, very timely, and helped me to purchase my very first homeHis team was also so kind and helpful every time I calledI was able to remain relaxed and excited throughout the whole process because of how attentive and caring they areI also got one of the best rates in history, Woohoo! Thanks so much David and staff! So happy and excited to finish moving in!

I have contact [redacted] regarding her complaint in order to try to resolve the issue. I spoke to her and explain to her the process. In addition I had asked her to email anything that she has so that we can resolve her complaint. I have emailed her and called her to see if she has any...

supporting documentations and she has not responded to me.
She had requested to lock her rate for 30 days on 5/** which we have a letter from her in writing and we had promised to get her underwriting fee  waived. In the meantime she did not close until 7/* which was over 2 weeks past her rate expiration. The lender charged her a rate extension fee. In addition her appraisal had expired and the lender needed a recertification of value. Even though that was  a 3rd party fee we made good and  promised her to refund her the cost get her appraisal extended.
We have done nothing wrong and in addition I have tried to reach out  to her. I would like to please contact me if you need further documentation as I would like this negative report off our record.

I have spoken with the [redacted] and forwarded any documentation he asked for.. He told me over the phone that as good faith he would reimburse half the cost of this fee. My broker was very clear there are no fees. My closing document clearly states they charged me an underwriting fee that I provided proof to the [redacted] that the broker said would be waived. I will accept half this fee back as the [redacted] stated.

Review: [redacted] of Tristar mortgage told me that there were no underwriting fees as a matter of fact I have an email stating this. After my closing of my house when I had time to read my "hud" I saw there were fees. I contacted [redacted] who said that everyone pays underwriting fees. Underwriting fees were $895. Also he tried to charge me at closing an extra $150.. to extend my survey when I questioned that fee he had me stop by his office to get the $150. back. When I met with [redacted] and asked why I should use a broker instead of a bank he stated that all fees are paid by the bank , and there are nio hidden fees. This is a sneaky and untrusting business.Desired Settlement: I would like my underwritinf fees reimbursed.
