I had a positive experience in my service with TruTech and I would recommend them

I have been trying to cancel my service with Trutech for a week now, but have not been able to do so because of their policyAccording to the office staff, they are not permitted to cancel customer accounts as it has to be done by a "manager." I have left a voice mail for the manager to call me back, and he has yet to do soThis is very poor business practice and I would NOT recommend using this companyAs for the service, it has not been very productive, I have killed more snakes than the pest man has!

On called them to get rid from flying squirrels in attictook approx..$4000..left for Europe for months, left the access to the attic during my trip in Europe, when I get back last June still have flying squirrels running everywherethe only thing they send bill of $for renewing the warrantySo deceived now me and my husband to get Rid from themonly took our money!!!

I cannot say enough about the positive experience I had in using TruTech I heard noises coming from my chimney and they responded the same day The technician, David Kucia, arrived promptly as promised He quickly determined that we had a mama raccoon with babies at the base of our chimney He was extremely knowledgeable in what needed to be done to get the mother to relocate with her babies The first attempt did not work and as promised he was at my home again the next day for a second attempt which did work The mother and babies were removed ethically without any harm being done to them He came back a third day as well to install chimney caps He was always here at exactly the time promised The cost was exactly as quoted

Crooks! Stay far away from this company! My grandfather has signs of an animal in his attic so he called this companyThe "trapper" that comes out said he had a ton of damage in his attic and an had an active animal in the atticThey charge my grandfather over $dollars to trap this so called animalWhat did this $service include you ask? single trap on the ground for WEEKIn this week time this company moved this trap every dayOf course your not going to catch an animal with trap and moving it around all the time!!!! After the week they said it must be gone and did a horrible job fixing the small hole my grandfather had in his sidingThis company took advantage of an elderly person! Stay far away!

I was extremely disappointed with the service ( or lack of service) that I received from this companyI signed a service contract in October for snake removal and bi monthly treatmentsWe set an initial appointment date and time to begin the treatmentsThe technician called times rescheduling the initial appointment and on the 4th reschedule he did not show up and did not callI then received a bill for the service after two months of waitingNO CONTRACTED WORK HAD BEEN DONEI then began to do some checking on this company and checking on some of the information I was given as part of the sales pitchI had been totally mislead by the sales technicianWhen I questioned the wisdom of beginning snake treatment in the winter months, he assured me that snakes are active all year roundMy subsequent research indicated that even though snakes do not "hibernate", they are inactive no mating, less roaming, less preying since they don't require much nourishmentAt that point in time I cancelled my service agreementI have received a new bill that still contains itemized work items that I did not receive
This company is very deceptive and unreliable in promoting and delivering their servicesI would recommend avoiding this company when looking for pest and critter control

Consider this company borderline criminal We had 'something' in our attic in Orlando and called Trutech to come out They did, and trapped a couple of squirrels and a rat They also alleged they 'repaired' all of the entry points into our attic All of this for just under $2K because we were convinced by the sales rep to buy the extended 'warranty' covering their work - you know where this is going already
So they are done...or are they? We continue to hear "something" in the attic for weeks and months forward Repeated calls to the rep, and repeated trips to the house do nothing to solve the problem
Finally, after less than months from the initial work being done, and repeated visits and calls, the rep exclaims "you have rats" Well no kidding, you trapped one the first time out But wait!! The warranty is no good and actually only covers the holes they repaired the first time...if they come in through a 'new' hole, you are totally screwed....and of course these rats must be new ones...no chance they are the same in the eyes of the service provider A new family of rates must have moved in the moment you made sure our attic was free of rats and sealed off Good job
So, how do you fix this problem? They quote us ANOTHER $700++ to get rid of the very same rats we had the first time out After questioning their ethics and how they could possibly argue this was not one and the same issue...they very generously offered to lower the quote and do us a 'favor' at $ WOW All the while, the manager would not return a call and kept marching his sales rep out
Shameful really They blatantly fleeced us with their shady 'warranty' and didn't even do the job we overpaid for them to do in the first place Embarrassing

Trutech should not get any stars but it required me to enter somethingOn August 14th, Neil did a service call to determine I had Chimney Swifts He said to call him when they are gone and he will come and sanitize the chimney and install a cap, which he would order in the meantime I called him a few weeks later when they were gone, and he said he was going to pick up the cap from his boss that Thursday and would call me to set up a day to come sanitize and install itA week went by and I did not hear from Neil so I called him and could not get a hold of him on the number that he gave me(XXX-XXX-XXXX) The recording on the phone was for "Blake" with TruTech but the mailbox was full and I could not leave a message I tried calling for a couple of days in hopes that I could eventually leave a message, but I kept getting the same message for Blake and the mailbox was full I now had to contact customer serviceI explained to Tamika my frustration and told her that I was extremely aggravated and felt that I should not be the one calling trying to get this doneTruTech should be calling me and in the midst of all of this I received an invoice and a statement a few days later for $for services done and asking me to submit payment promptlyI told her I will not be paying anything because nothing has been done and I can't get a hold of anyoneI told her that I felt I was getting scammed and TruTech is not a legitimate companyShe assured me it was and they have been around for a long time and that I wasn't getting scammedShe put me on hold and contacted the District Manager for my area, Joseph Boatin, and told him my storyShe relayed the message that Neil or himself would be calling me later that day to set up an appointmentNeil did call around 4:that day and told me he had the cap and would be out that Thursday or Friday, which would've been Sept6th or 7thIt rained both of those days so I did not expect Neil to come out I did, however, expect a call from him to reschedule I did not receive one as of yet as I write this review, days later! We decided to give truetech a try this week to deal with some problem squirrels living in our attic in our house I have to say I have been very disappointed with the service we have received First of all the there is only one tech in this area and in an area with ice and snow where you need to be able to get up on ladders, thats not helpful The tech was very reluctant to do the things that needed to be done such as this to help with the problem He struggled with looking our attic and had to use one of our own ladders and then basically refused to go up and look around in the attic Said its not possible Previous pest control people we had had crawled around up there and did a full inspection He has been setting traps on the ground in places that are no where near the problem area He has been unwilling to put them on the roof even though we have explained that we have seen the squirrels getting in in a specific area He even agreed with seeing tracks up there He has caught precisely one squirrel and it is not even one of the problem squirrels When we were setting the traps ourselves, we were catching more and even caught them on the roof We called a company to help because what we were doing was not enough and thought a professional might be a better option I paid $to have this guy basically catch one squirrel doing exactly what we could hav been doing ourselves I am requesting that I be refunded for lack of service Thank you for your consideration I will not be using Trutech in future and will not recommend
