Unified Doers Management Reviews (145)

I had been receiving the wrong subscription and because I had kept my receipt, I was able to submit a request for a refund. I received a $50.00 refund promptly and with no questions. Very happy with customer service.

Review: I purchased a magazine subscription from two young [redacted] women who rang my home doorbell on February 13, 2013. I was to receive 7 issues of Digital Photo magazine for $20.00 with a process and handling fee of $20.00 for a total of $40.00. Because I have never received the magazine, I went on line to learn about the company at their website: www.udmanagementgroup.com I called the phone number listed: ###-###-#### and spoke to a gentleman who asked for my invoice number, and when I gave it to him, he read the information to me on my receipt and assured me that he would take care of it. It is now, July 24th and I have not received a magazine, a call, a note, or a refund. If I do not receive my money back within the next two weeks, I will report this company to the police.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my money refunded ($40.00) no later than August 5th, 2013 or I will report them to the newspaper and the police.

Review: On May 16, 2013, I ordered a magazine from Unified Doers Management Group, LLC. I have not recieved the magazine. I have written the company and enclosed a copy of my order. No reply. It is not possible to contact them on the phone.Desired Settlement: I have waited too long and I need to receive a refund of $32.00

Respectfully,

I've been purchasing magazine subscriptions from UD Management LLC for serveral years, in 3 cities and 2 states. The skills of the salesperson vary but I have always received my magazine subscriptions after 120 days. This year my salesperson was outstanding. Very professional, well spoken, respectful and not pushy at all. I will continue to support this organization.

Review: I purchased a magazine subscription today from a door to door salesperson claiming the price to be 50% off. I checked the website after purchase to see the full price only to find it to be a fraction of what I paid. (I was charged $80 for 24 issues and it is $29.95 for 24 issues directly from the magazine's website.) I attempted to contact the company and being it is a Saturday, they are closed. The receipt states I have 3 business days to cancel the transaction, so I thought ok I'll just call back on Monday...however upon further review of my receipt, the woman dated it 1/31/2014...today is 2/8/2014!! Making my 3 business days over a week prior to my purchase!! I still intend to contact the company first thing Monday and have placed a stop payment on the check with my bank. I wanted to file this complaint immediately, should they try to come after me for the money. And now I see that the Revdex.com has rated them an F...which concerns me even more!!Desired Settlement: To accept my notice of cancellation and not pursue payment on a service I wish to cancel.

Review: I was sold a magazine subscription from a young woman who said she was representing UDMG. She had official paperwork and gave me a receipt for my purchase of $50. She assured me that I could cancel "at anytime" and my money would be refunded to me. After she left my doorstep I had a bad feeling about my purchase and looked up UDMG online and was swamped with complaints about the business and how it was a scam, how it received a "f" rating from the Revdex.com, and how people never got their magazines but the company kept their money. I wanted to cancel my order, and on the back of the receipt it says to write your order number and name on a paper with instructions to "cancel my order" within 3 business days of purchase. It had to be postmarked by midnight on day 3 which I believe it was. My purchase was on 9/21/13 and my check was cashed on 9/25/13. I have tried to call the company since then but no one answers (as online reviews warned) and their voicemail says not to leave a message because "messages don't get returned." I would like someone to process my refund because it was sent within the allotted time frame. I am also upset that they won't even answer the phone during their advertised business hours.Desired Settlement: I would like UDMG to refund my money, a total of $50 dollars via cash or check.

Review: I ordered two magazine subscriptions in August of 2013. After 6 months had not received either subscription. One subscription was to be delivered to me and the other to my father in a different state as a gift. I called the number provided on the receipt and I only got a prerecorded message telling me not to leave a message. I called between the designated business hours but calls were never answered by a person. After about another two months I finally received my subscription but as of yet my father has not received his. It is almost a year later and I still cannot get a hold of anyone to even discuss a refund. Also there is no email address for me to send a complaint to. I paid a lot of money for these subscriptions thinking this money was for a good cause.

Review: I had a young man come by my house 10/07/2013 to sell magazines and believed his story and bought a subscription and paid 64.00 as of today with numerous phone calls to this company I have not received those magazine and was completely ripped off..I have tried to call again today and only got a voicemail to get my money back...I have read about this company and noticed they are not accredited with you guys....Is there anything you can do to help me get my money back from this company, ThanksDesired Settlement: I would like my money back for services not rendered

Review: I purchased magazines from a door-to-door salesperson, but neither I, nor the people I designated at gift recipients, have received them. The purchase was made on November 2, 2013.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my money ($95) refunded.

Review: I ordered three magazine subscriptions and paid for them on 12/13/13. My invoice says to contact UD Management if delivery has not occurred in 120 days. I have tried to reach UD Management on several occasions and always get a recording. My invoice # is [redacted]. The employee that sold me the subscriptions is [redacted]Desired Settlement: Return my $116.00 payment

Review: I ordered a subscription of "The Economist" for $147 from one of their door-to-door salesman in February 2013. The check I wrote was cashed in February. On the receipt it is noted "If you do not receive delivery within 120 days, please notify UD Management Group, LLC. You are entitled to a delivery or a refund."

On 9/12/13, after failing to receive any issue of the magazine, I called and asked for a refund. I was told that if I signed the back of my copy of the receipt and mailed it in, I would receive a full refund. It has been 5 weeks since I mailed my receipt and I have yet to receive a refund.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund.

Review: Unfortunately I fell for the door to door magazine sales. I paid $50 for a magazine subscription as a gift for my husband back on October 22, 2013. He has yet to receive a single of the 12 issues ordered and everytime I call the number on my receipt, I get the same recording that states they are unavailable and NOT to leave a message because the call will NOT be returned.Desired Settlement: I would either like the magazine subscription to begin being delivered and receive all 12 issues or I would like a refund.

Response:

ONLY after filing my complaint with the Revdex.com AND contacting the magazine directly did the company FINALLY respond. The magazine subscription of which I ordered on October 22, 2013, FINALLY arrived on May 15, 2014. This well exceeds Unified Doers Management Group's fine red print " Please allow 90 - 120 days for delivery."

Review: On March 9, 2014, a representative from Unified Doers Management Group, LLC, came to my door selling magazine subscriptions. I, in good faith, purchased a subscription for my mother and wrote a check for $48.00. The check was cashed on March 13, 2014, and cleared my account. To date, the subscription to Travel 50 and Beyond magazine has never been started. When I've attempted to contact the company, all I get is a recording, but I am not allowed to leave a message for them to return my call.Desired Settlement: I want my full $48.00 refunded.

Review: April 15, 2013 - I ordered a magazine from this company. I fully intended to file for a refund as I felt the high pressure sales technique was threatening and I didn't want to say no out of fear.

April 15, 2013 - As soon as the sales person walked away, I mailed via USPS a request for a refund per the instructions on receipt # [redacted]

Sept 30/13 - Called at 4:53 p.m. - Was told refund would go out friday, 10/4 adn to expect in 7-10 business days (i.e. by 10/22)

Called 10/30 said it would go out 11/01... yea right...

Called 12/12 said it woud go out 12/13...we shall see. I just think this has gone too far.

I am OWED $40 from this degenerate company.Desired Settlement: I am OWED $40 from this degenerate company in the form of a check.

Review: I ordered several magazine subscriptions on December 6, 2012 from a door to door teenage or early 20's sales guy. He was very charasmatic and I wanted to help him earn his points. He was asking for advise about being successful. After I completed the paperwork and gave him my check he called his "supervisor" and I had to speak with her. There were dogs barking in the background, it was very unprofessional but I chose to have faith and think these people aren't ripping me off. Needless to say the magazines were never delivered to my address neither was the subscription delivered to my brothers address as one of them I ordered was for him for Christmas.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded my $110.

Respectfully,

Review: I ordered a magazine from a young lady who came to my door 3-4-13. I have never received said product and have sent in their receipt, per their instruction and contacted them via phone 3 times. Once for inquiry of product and twice for a refund. It's been a year and a half and still nothing at all from this company, refund or product. I purchased this magazine in good faith and because I felt compassion for the saleswoman who claimed she was trying to go back to college. The cost of 12 issues of said magazine with this company was $68.00 in total.Desired Settlement: I expect to be refunded in full the $ 68.00 that I paid to them in good faith a year and a half ago. These people have not honored their end of the agreement full stop.

Review: they cashed my check even though I made sure my cancellation notice arrived on the required date. when I called the company a young woman told me if they received my cancellation notice they would send me a refund by the following friday. I have never received the refund $122 and it is now almost 6 weeks. Today I received the original express mail envelope I sent with the cancellation notice inside in my mailbox. I called the post office and they said either it was never picked up or it was returned to the DC post office [redacted]. I mailed this to a street address and the express mail label indicates that someone signed for it on 6/3/14. The post office said that probably someone signed for it and then returned it to the post office unopened. what a racket.Desired Settlement: Refund by cashiers check. this company as it turns out has many complaints on the Revdex.com web site and on other web sites. I should have known better but the kid at my door seemed genuine. this company needs to be put out of business and since it's an LLC of course the owners can't be sued. this seems like something the district attorney should be pursuing for DC. this company 'hires' these desparate/clever young people, trains them down to the last detail in order to get a check from the consumer. the kid who was selling to me had me initially at over $300 in subscriptions. Good thing I couldn't afford it and only wrote the check for $122. Please put these guys out of business and in jail.

Review: I purchased a magazine subscription from an independent contractor (door-to-door) of UD Management Group on October 23rd, 2012 in the amount of $51.00 (via check). I received a receipt for the Taste of Home magazine which indicates delivery should be received within 120 days of payment. The receipt indicates that a full refund would be provided from UD Management if the magazine was not delivered. The website provided does not allow for complaints. The phone number provided is never answered by a human being. The answer machine does not allow messages and indicates no return calls will be made.Desired Settlement: I believe this is not a legitimate business. Although it claims to be a [redacted] organization in its website, it is not a non-for-profit. It does not take donations, but encourages through the door-to-door sales individuals commissioned sales amounts to be paid. Although I wont make this mistake again, door-to-door sales people in this area using UD managements name are still active. Close it down if I am not the only person not receiving their magazine subscription.
