We never received the first letter. When the customer ships our UBoxes from Hawaii, we use an actual ship to get them here. Once on the ship, we have no way of tracking their whereabouts. We do our best to get the customer's belongings to...
their destination on time. There are just times when this does not happen. If items are not received on the due date, we do pay the customer $50 per day for each day they are late. Today, we have issued a credit of $200.00 back to the credit card used for this transaction. We also reimbursed Ms. [redacted] $40.88 for mileage fees on the 15' truck she rented and didn't charge her for the Double Box trailer she needed to transport the boxes to her home and off load them. We do not deliver boxes to customer's home. Ms [redacted] has already picked up the boxes and taken to her home. The Hawaii location did the second rent charge for the two boxes. Rent starts from the day the customer occupies the boxes. Ms [redacted] started on 10/13 so on 11/14 the next month's rent was charged. I can reverse this charge also since the boxes were still in transit. To summarize, total refunds will come to $485.10 plus the complimentary use of the trailer (a $24.95 value plus tax.) 244.22 for the rent and $200 for late arrival and $40.88 for the mileage.
