Review: I leased a new vehicle in December 2014 at Venrura Volkswagen. I was driving double the allowed miles on the lease. In July 2015 I contacted the dealer to try to trade the lease for a new purchase. I was approved from an on line credit application and invited to the dealer from the salesman.I picked out a new car that I was qualified for , signed the contract and all other required paperwork and took delivery of the vehicle. After driving the car for two weeks , I had to return to the dealer to sign another contract which the finance manager assured me would go through with no further issues. It is now August 15, 2015 and my trade has not yet been paid off nor does Volkswagen Credit have any record as of yet of the vehicle I purchased. My account with the trade in vehicle reached 30 days past due and now has a delinquent status and will have a negative effect on my credit score regardless of my explaining to them the situation regarding the dealer. I contacted Volkswagen Customer Care from Volkswagen of America and they did get involved to resolve this issue. My contact there spoke with the dealer and the finance department and the told me that the issue would be resolved no later than August 13. I contacted Volkswagen Credit on the 14th and nothing had been resolved up to that point , they don't even have record of my new purchase which has a first payment due by contract on August 24. I have not been able to contact the finance manager at Ventura Volkswagen by phone and none of my messages to return my calls have been returned. With no explanation as to why this is hapenning to me , I am compelled to think that it is possibly personal.Desired Settlement: Complete the sales transaction with the finance company NOW. Send a letter explaining the delay that resulted in my account being delinquent at no fault of my own. Send me a copy of the same letter. Send me a detailed explanation of why this happened to me accompanied with a formal apology. Make some sort of attempt to show me that they understand and value customer service and have some level of concern about how this issue has had a negative impact on me on multiple levels.
