Thegroup of people that I worked with were very helpful From setting up the appointment to the techician coming to my home for some electrical repair The tech was very friendly and made sure I knew what he was planning on doing I am very happy with the work they did and I enjoyed the professionalism I received while they were doing the work in my home
Wirenut installed a furnace and air conditioner unit [redacted] and his guys did an amazing job I was pretty sure they would do a good job but I was pleasantly surprised that it exceeded that After getting all these quotes from companies and having various companies look over my current equipment, I only had two companies (Wirenut being one of them) point out things that could be improved on with my current setup without changing it out Only a few companies told me I would need an additional air intake for example Wirenut told me about the gaps in my duct system that could be sealed up to help with the system Because of this knowledge you gave me, I was looking to see if Wirenut would do something like that because only one other company even pointed it out so it was doubtful that most if any would go the extra mile and seal the duct connections up [redacted] and the other guy went that extra mile and sealed the duct which was a great surprise
I recently had an issue where my furnace wouldnâ t turn on so I decided to call Wire Nut because I had a coupon that was for $off of ANY serviceA guy named [redacted] from Wire Nut came out that same afternoon to take a lookWhen he arrived, I started out the appointment by letting him know that I didnâ t know anything about furnaces so he would need to break things down a bit for me in simpler termsI have lived in my house for years but my Dad had always taken care of the furnace, but he recently passed awayWell [redacted] started out inside the house because I thought it might have been the thermostat causing the issue, which after a few minutes, he found that indeed that was the problem (Which took him about minutes to fix)Just to be sure there werenâ t any other issues; I authorized him to do a full check on the furnace which was going to be an outrageous $in addition to the $service call just to get him out to my propertyBut being a single woman in need of my furnace to work, I didnâ t want to have to call someone else out to do the work not knowing how much they would end up charging me in the endSo [redacted] went under the house where the furnace is and came out several times to tell me all the multiple things that was â wrongâ with the furnaceEach time, he would come out and speak to me in a condescending tone like I should have known these things were wrong One time he came out and showed me that his carbon monoxide detector read that I had a small leak and that he was going to have to report it to the city (the meter read PPM yet he later wrote PPM on the report)I have an old dog and a very tiny new puppy at the house and he said that even small amounts of carbon monoxide could be deadly to them so the leak was very serious At the end of the appointment, he basically sat me down and told me that I need an entire new furnace and that I should set up an appointment immediately with his company to come out and give me an estimate He also told me that my $coupon was not valid to use with a diagnostic service, just â otherâ services (which he gave no examples) even though the coupon specifically states, â $off ANY serviceâ So anyway, I did what he said and set up an appointment for that next weekIn the meantime, I spoke with some friends and they recommended I get a second opinion about the carbon monoxide leak before I go all out and replace the entire furnaceSo I cancelled my estimate appointment with Wire Nut and had another company come out later that weekThe company that came out did a full check of the furnace and found no leak to speak ofThey said that sometimes if your furnace just turns on after it has been off for a bit, it can push out the air faster than the vacuum can pull it, therefore a small amount of gas can leak out, but that it is so minimal it will just evaporate into the air causing no risk(I might be a little off in my explanation, because like I said, I donâ t know anything about furnacesBut the point is, that Wire Nut should have known that and not reported the leak to the city or tell me that I need to replace my furnace all together) The company also expressed no other concerns and that it was completely unnecessary to replace the furnaceI ended up paying this company $for the service call and the inspection, much cheaper than Wire NutSo long story short, I feel that [redacted] tried to take advantage of the fact that I am a single woman with no furnace knowledge and convince me to unnecessarily spend thousands of dollars to replace my furnace with their company
This company provided me fast and efficient service they really know their stuff when it comes HVAc systems and give phenomenal customer service I have total confidence in the ability and the work they performed for me
The technician I had is the "best He is very efficient & puts a lot of pride in his jobAlso, very professional & considerate of his customersHe is a definite plus for the company
We called to have bathroom fans repaired/replaced and specifically asked how that would work regarding trip charges if replacement fans were needed and multiple trips were requiredWe were told by the technician that one fan was just dirty and as a result was working harder than it needed toHe told us we needed to clean itThe said the other fan was not an electrical issue, rather, "the fan needed to be replaced"They declined to do the work, yet, they still expected to be paid the trip charge
Excellent service: earlier than scheduled!, very courteous, professionally done, tech clearly explained what needed to be done, work completed efficiently and successfully, reasonable price given nature of the work

Wire Nuts technician ***, has made replacing a breaker box a terrible and un nerving experience for me and my landlord Not only did he cancel appointments, show up late, not make courtesy calls, forget numerous parts, and leave his apprentice alone more than once After being two hours late on the day the work was due to be completed, [redacted] told me I would have power again by 2- Rolls around and he says well now it'll be done by seven pm hits and I asked him how much longer this would be, because it was now pitch black in my house and outside and I was uncomfortable with the fact that this has taken so long and now it is dark, he told me maybe another hourI then said I would prefer you to leave and come back and finish in the morning He told me that couldn't be done Because he chose not to listen to me and my request, my father came out to the property and asked him and his teammate to leave for the daythey did right away
The Wirenut claims to be devoted to service but nothing could be farther from the truth They aquired my HVAC installer, [redacted] who had provided exceptional service, so I contacted them when I was having A/C issues at the start of the summer season The earliest they could work with my schedule was a week later, so my wife took time off to make their two hour window for repair Less than an hour before their scheduled appointment, they called to say they were behind and had to reschedule This nessesitated another week of waiting as temperatures rose, and my wife once again had to take time off work to meet their window Once again, my wife and I recieved calls one hour before the scheduled window advising that they had to reschule again Rescheduled on last time for days later, wilth wife having to take off work for a third time, and she waited through the entire two hour window, with no contacts from WireNut until a full hour after the window to be notified they were on their way within minutes They then called back to cancel due to inclement weather At this point, the company has cost us over a hundred dollars in lost wages, and has made zero efforts to provide the service they laud on their own website, nor to offer suitable compensation I have selected another company and was able to schedule service the next day I hope that this notification of failure serves as a warning to others who value their time, money, and peace of mind that the Wirenut will cost you all three
The service electrician was very helpful He went above and beyond what he had to do on the repair of the furnace He was informative and courteous while he was in my home
